Currently each stat fulfills 2 purpose at once, idea is to split one of those purposes off into a sub-stat so that function of the hero is still increasing yet slower and introduce 3 new functions. (And in general: to make itemization more important)
Substats are located between the 3 main ones and require the hero to gain a point in each main they are connected with to go up by 1.
Additionally there is the 'Aspect' in the middle which controls damage increase and one more effect, feeds off two main stats and the one between them, going up by one whenever the two main its connected with increases by 1 each, the sub stat located between those two main counts as 0.5 for contributing towards ASP whenever that substat has risen by 1.
Which line 'Aspect' draws power from varies dependant on who the hero is. Fe. whilst archer type heroes with AGI main would rather be paired with INT, melee rogue types would rather use AGI main with STR pair, an paladin/dk would be STR with INT pair whilst a purely warrior type would rather have AGI as 2. and so on, etc.
Which additional effect 'Aspect' provides depends on hero's main attribute.
STR: armor penetration
AGI: +movespeed
INT: faster spell cd
Whilst i didnt think further on values of those 3 would rather keep them of minor effect, think them as a 'side-bonus' for leveling up.
STR: Strength. 1 STR=25 HP.
END: Endurance. 1 END=0.05 HP regen per sec.
AGI: Agility. 1 AGI=+0.3 armor.
DEX: Dexterity. 1 DEX=+0.2% attack rate.
INT: Intelligence. 1 INT=+15 Mana.
WIS: Wisdom. 1 WIS=+0.05% mana regen per sec.
ASP: Aspect of the Hero. 1 ASP=+3 Damage and additional effect dependant on main. (see further above)
