Why do people with no posts and no rep come and post threads here? Do you actually think anyone is going to help you with your project if we don't know you from the forums? Especially the really good triggerers, terrainers, spell-makers and modelers (etc.) will already have projects with more well-known mapmakers on the site. Start with single developer projects.
Just putting my opinion/rant out there.

Well i'm new but i get what you mean. That's why i'm just offering my limited services. I'm a pretty good story writer but if you've seen me round you know i don't like to brag. Cya round the boards :)

Heh,after my first few experiments with the RoC world editor I decided I would do my very best to spread my artwork to the public in its greatest form...a playable platform.

When I came to the hive I never bothered with the maps section, but soon after when I saw maps like DotA Allstars and many others,I decided I would start here.

My stories;my novels have had great effects in written form and I want to give the very best experience of these stories to people who would play my maps. I personally could care less if anyone knew my name or if I ever got any rep at all,but as long as people know these stories belong to me,I have no issues.

Thats how i'd feel if i'd make anything. Hopefully i can get around to being a major writer for a map/campaign but I just really have to follow the flow and see where my talents are needed and accepted. Then eventually learn to make something for myself.

i find that you get alot of people who come and ask for partners in projects, and alot of the time if i havent been busy i have said i would help so long as they have some desernable skills. most of the time however, it usually turns out to be a let down. so now i help anyone it is with triggers as and when they need it and only if i can bring myself to go into the trigger forum.

Heh.Perry seems to be at the stage I was two months ago.I worked with "Poser" and such, but never directly with polygons.I knew the minor details of modelling which helped my development.

Aside from that,I haven't seen any nooby ass 'z0mfgz0rx +r3p m3h" posts.I personally want to become an animator, and throughout this summer,I might learn from my Godfather, who is currently under contract by Disney.
I know when a request is useful to more than just one person, and if I reach my goal,i'd do all I can for...most of the interesting requests I see around here.
