Where to start...

Hey I've got 3DS max 9, and I have some questions cuz I'm new at modeling:

• I can't find something that makes MDX/MDL to MAX, is it on HW?
• What do I have to download and what are usefull tools too?
• What is NeoDex?
• And how to make animations?

Okay I put the attached things in the script map,
But that not inculded tools, do I have to download them too? and where do I have to put them?
