I’m sure veteran Warcraft III custom map players already know this, but it was a surprise to me that stan and Hex lasts just as long on units above level 5 as it does on heroes and units with Resistant Skin. How do you fix this? I can’t find any info on this anywhere - help, plz!

Creep above level 5 are have hero resistance is very long mechanic from 2004 i guess.
Strange. It turns out that "resistance skin", of which there are 4 in the game, is only needed for units below level 6? I thought this error appeared in reforge. And also, if my memory serves me right, I remember creeps of lvl 8-9 with this spell.

This is likely a melee mechanic for boss monsters in creep packs. For consistency, creeps do not use heroes, which would have also had the desired effect. The entire creep player also has a ton of hard coded logic and behaviour which can result in some rather strange interactions such as them being unable to attack buildings too far away from their camp.

Without this mechanic it would be far too easy to trivialise such creep units by keeping them constantly CCed and so unable to resist effectively.

The idea behind this mechanic is taken to the extreme with the really tough creep monsters which usually have abilities like divine shield (bandit lord?), or are out right spell immune (golems, dragons, e.t.c.).
