Imo Avira Antivir is good. It's free and light

McAfee is like 30-50 bucks but really smarter than Norton. Removes mostly any virus or thing that is harmful!

Kasperski Antivir Free Edition from the magazine of computerbild which is not anymore available... well, and I think there is no computerbild outside of germany, but I have no idea.

- No firewall, you need another external firewall
- (has a anyoing sound when finding a virus)
[+]:
- Free
- finds most viruses

McAffee:

[-]:
- Really difficult to configure... a friend of mine used it and it takes about 5 min to disable the firewall
- very expensive.
- As far as I know not as efficient as the other ones

- All inclusive package, (firewall, spam...)


Kaspersky (I use it)

- Not free

[+]:
- Internet security includes everything
- Finds nearly every virus (really good test results)
- Easy to use

(as redscores says there is a free version in the german computer magazine "computerbild" which can do nearly everything the original version can do)


Panda Internet security: (i used to use it)

- Extremly high cpu and memory usage (pc speed dropped to half)
- Extremly expensive

[+]:
- Includes everything
- Easy to use
- Finds most viruses




I personally preferre Kaspersky.

We don't know which one is the best, but I would go for Norton Internet Security 2010. It's awesome, but kinda expensive though.

Am also using this site for my net speed test.. Just you get accelarator for your slow net speed problem... Am also using the accelarator for that matter... I think you must search in google search...
