(starting another drama thread won't help anything >.>)

I personally don't have anything against the administration or the moderation, I think all that stuff was started because some users thought they were treated too harshly, even though breaking the rules is a stupid thing to do in the first place.

I wouldn't say they should be banned, as half of the userbase could go down the drain creating more drama for the ones who left, but yeah, a radical change would do good, like closing all the drama threads down and slapping them into the Recycling bin.

That's my opinion too. Most of the users think the administrators are supposed to be like their moms, be on 24/7 or they simply want someone they could use up there. That's completely biased and is mostly bullshit. The admins are just supposed to watch over the moderators. And most of the mods are doing a good job.

Close the drama threads and sticky this one so it won't happen again >.>
If people can't see they are telling other people to whine with them because some whiner told it to him/her, they should be banned.
There is NOTHING wrong with the system around here. I don't think a few mods missing would mean a lot ... As members, we can always learn the noobs not to break the rules, just by being kind. No harsh punishments needed really... Now wc3 was made for gaming. Gaming = fun ... This is NOT fun. Die, stupid whiners, you ruined the hive, thanks.

Back in the good o' days the (staff)community here was great. But the older the staff gets, the worse it becomes. Think of the school policy; totally screwed up.

What is the point of yet another thread discussing the exact same things? I'm just going to ignore this topic here on in and post in the other one.

Reinstatement of administration won't fix the fact that a lot of moderators are far too hot headed, or simply unqualified for their positions.

Vega, What a coincidence that you posted this after beng banned from chat for trolling.
If you take a look at my post history, you'll find that I've been saying this for a very long time now. You can look back to last year and see me repeating myself then as I am now.

A lot of you kids are simply bad moderators. Easily provoked. Always confrontational. Never truly moderating, using your powers with a strong bias to get what you want and act however you please.

I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes by saying I didn't know you were Elenai's boyfriend, but it was the perfect reply. It became even more perfect when I got banned for saying it.

Dramadramadramadramadramadramadrama

Power hungry for what? I don't understand what on this site could make someone power hungry other than the diminishing of other users for some stupid reason, which doesn't seem entertaining one bit.

I also can't believe that we've made this many drama threads. So far I think there have been 3 drama threads, and 2 drama threads about drama threads. Seriously, cut it off.

Or don't, this is amusing

I like reading these amusing threads, but the only whining i hate is ''WHERE DO I DOWNLOAD THOSE COOL WOW MODELS'' that makes me sick, and stop whining about whining because it's just whining...should the admins ban instantly users that make some wow model thread? if so hive would be a noob free site if you ask me.

Example: look at this noob, even doe he diden't create a wow thread he made some thread about importing skins at site discussions forum, how noob is that? ban those who dont obey the rules, even if they are new it's the law (never tought i would be at the side of the rules, nah just jocking, or am i?) . http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/f97/i-need-help-importing-specific-skin-115125/

The point of this is was to see how admins take care of the site, that thread was made 2 days ago!! not 1 day or today but 2days!!!! if you ask me the admins should be punished or ralle should get more admins. There should be someone to take care of the noob threads not just let them pass by and ignore them.

1) Creating threads like this sure as fuck isn't going to help things.

2) I don't know any corrupt moderators. Well, a couple, and I wouldn't really call them corrupt so much as biased at times.

3) This site isn't going to get better by whining. It's not going to get better by having some kind of power-shuffle either.

It's quite simple. Everyone who is active right now is doing a fine job of moderating.

WHY SO MUCH DRAMA THEN!?

Because you idiots are creating the drama. There is no drama to speak of until you start complaining about it.

All that needs to be done is a weeding, again. The inactive staff members will be removed, replaced, life carries on.

Either these points need to be re-restated over and over again because people here are too goddamn stupid to understand/follow them, or I'm missing the point entirely.

The only point you made I disagree with. The site needs someone to be in a position of power that is both widely respected and going to take care of the sections that really, really need it. A power shuffle is the cleanest, most productive way to get rid of those who don't represent/administrate well and bring in those who do.

But that ain't going to change stuff... Giving someone another title doesn't change a whole lot, does it?

To be honest, I don't think anything is really wrong with this site. There's definitely a need for resource (maps/spells) moderators, but that's about all there is to say.
The real problem however doesn't lie at this site but it lies at the members. We simply can't live with each others and banning people from chat or whining about being banned ain't going to help anything.

Moderators should stop seeing their job as a personal fight. I personally think many mods are trying to win discussions when they're discussing something with a member violating the rules. Such discussions should stay in PM's or mod contact forum. Don't try to win any discussion. Just neg rep, lock a thread, remove a post, do your job and shut up... Or if you need to say something, go flame like mecheon. But stop pointless discussions about who's right and who's wrong. If a member is opening a thread like this (just another "what's wrong" thread), just lock it up as soon as it arises.

Changing their title? No, it doesn't do anything. Changing their permissions? Yeah, that's a whole new ball game.

I believe the 'drama' threads should remain. If they're the only way the staff and the users will speak out their thoughts, then so be it.

This is not my area of moderation, and I understand LiOneSS's reasons for creating this, but without a specific topic of discussion, this thread is way too dispersed.
