Hey I am Taintedwisp, and I feel like boosting the Starcraft 2 Mapping Community. I am going around to the various websites, seeing what i could do to boost everyones traffic, so that we can get the mapping community going decently, hopefully by the time of HoTS. :p

yes I troll on mapster forums, but thats just because thats what they need :p

wether they admit it or not, Before I came to their site it was 1-2 post per day, now its rare for the front not to say atleast 1 new post in the last 15 minutes.

So i want to boost everyone else but trolling wouldnt help you :p Sc2 Mappers dont come here like they do elsewhere so making people outraged enough where they post just to combat wont help haha, So What can be done. what could I do to help the Sc2 Portion of this site, I can create tutorials, go to various sites, Talk on the Battle.net forums, several things I could do to help, but I would like to hear from the members, what do they think needs to take priority.

Just making posts, create resources or as you yourself suggested a fancy new tutorial about a subject not yet covered or going much more into depth of one that is would be the way to go. Additionally it never harms to tell interested parties about that site - friends are always welcome.

I could for instance be slightly interested as in your comment about visiting various mapping sites. Since I hope you have a lot of time on your hand or limit yourself to a few sites given how much time it would actually take to make an impact on a site. But trying is also a good thing nonetheless.

And also welcome to the Hive, hope that you'll find it so much to your liking that you stick around some more
