I'm writing a book and I'm searching ideas and inspiration.

Take a note for the book. When this question was asked in a survey 80% of people pointed out an event that happened when they were between the age 6 to 12. A child's brain comprehends a lot more things as 'scary' and frightening compared to the adult's one.
Sorry I can't link you the exact research topic but it was ages ago when I read about it.

p.s. Ofcorse razor sharp teethed clowns don't care about that research.
p.s.2 Frankster - my grandfather's car was hit by ball lightning in 1976. Gave him a heart condition for a month. Nothing more.

Yes. In the rural areas where I live, especially in forest areas, necromancers and shamans are a real problem. They cast fireballs and other spell on people.

Third pic: The only scary thing is how stupid that movie is. Theres a scene where the snowman turns to water, moves under the bathroom door and rapes a girl in the shower using his carrot, you dont see any of her intresting parts so its not even worth a link.
