Is there a way to make someone translate a map to a different language without giving him the unprotected version? Maybe something to do with the wts file of the map.
Google translator seems flawed because it literally translates everything. Languages have different usage of grammars and letters and some of them is based of how the words are used.

Yes you can put quite every string in the war3map.wts file. This will make internationalization of your map easy. A description of how to use it can be found here.
@Shadow Fury, I will not be doing the translating. Someone PM me to get a copy of my unprotected map so he can make a Korean translated version of the map. But I'm looking for alternative way to avoid giving the unprotected map. I'm thinking it is possible since Dota also has different versions but I doubt they are given in unprotected version.
@Ezekiel12, so what I will do is export the wts file, make the person translate it, then import it to my map?
Exactly. But before that you have to substitute all strings you want to internationalize with a trigger string of course, those trigger strings are what is defined inside the .wts file. Look at the link I provided for further explanation.

Rephrase that question please. The .wts file contains the trigger strings which are read in all the places those strings are used. There is only one .wts file and it resides inside the map file, so you have to import it if you want to replace it.
Using the .wts file as a central repository for all language strings might make the map larger by a tiny amount and might increase loading time a little bit depending whether you reuse strings and on the size of your map. Generally nothing to worry about though.
Just give out the unprotected map to whomever is going to translate it. Worst case he'll just upload the map somewhere on a Korean forum that you're never going to see, so there's no much of a reason to go through all of this just to prevent that.
@Ezekiel12 exactly if I import the wts file, it will overwrite the existing wts file. The file size if the wts file is 200 KB so importing it will make the map 200 KB larger?
@Yayoi, maybe you are right. If it will take too much trouble, I will just give the unprotected map. It is not like he/she will edit the script because he/she might break it.
Not really. The imported .wts file holds all your strings, that's why it is 200KB. Mind though that in the places where these strings were before you now only have placeholders, taking nearly no size. You shift the strings from all the different places to the .wts file, so you're not really increasing map size.
