We're developing with the same guys who made War of the 12 Kingdoms, War of the Lost Kingdoms, Rise of Empires, and... Broken Alliances!

U can catch me on bnet Milfeus.785 or my husband Malpheus.292, or even just on skype @ brokenalliances to talk with us any time.

Oo forgot that I changed it to Milpheus.785, but it wasn't filtered as Milfeus either.

Thanks for noticing?

Not the topic... and little weird that's the only thing you get out of those posts :)

nice DK

You've got a nice idea of puting a ''Fence'' in the Death Knight helmet. I love it. It makes him looks like Hades :O

In my opinion though :goblin_yeah:

There's been some work on the basic game mechanics, I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to give away here... But we've basically had our coders working on tech demos (proof of concepts) before we start work on actual elements, we want to plan it perfectly to minimise chance of delay and/or error during the later stages of production. Modelling should restart soon enough as Walle has a new beast of a pc (that he won't shut up about :p) and Ralle has very kindly offered us hosting here at the hive, so I'm currently sorting out some neat content pages and thread/forum sections for that...

All in all, there's nothing specific to report right now, but there should be a whole host of things towards the end of the month! :)

So hey there again Sir Grey, I'd be more than happy to help you folks out on this project.
However as I'm currently working on a game of my own doing all the modeling I can't say I'll be too active,
however I do make some WC related models from time to time for fun, currently working on the goblin merchant building (Temple of Boom).
So if you need some extra help just hit me up on skype. (Traggey)

Something is wrong with the "official website" it comes up with a black page.

Are you still having that problem? Because its 100% fine for me and everyone I've asked.

The Goblin Merchant and the Goblin Laboratory(Temple of Boom) are two entirely different buildings. ;)

@Deolrin. Yeah I do tend to get those two confused, my bad ^^'

Anyway, I'll just leave this right here. ( No bump or specular mapping as of yet )

http://tinyurl.com/62a8jqw - Does that work any better?

@Traggey - That is absolutely god-like. Brilliance and while I appreciate your offer for help, I of all people know how hard it is to juggle projects, real life and favours, anything you can offer us I'll accept gladly and with the utmost credit and appreciation but I doubt very much I could justify asking stuff of you ^^

Keep up the good work man and by all means, stay in touch :)
If you want to talk in length at any time my skype is CeZ789

I'd recommend people mentioning what browser they're using when reporting problems with the website in the future. On my scripting learning journey, I found that most browsers will not properly support some CSS3 or JavaScript tags.

Nice goblin laboratory there, it's awesome. Did you design it from scratch or did you convert from Warcraft III?

I'd recommend changing those bricks. Like, on the lower (first) level, that brick wall looks weird standing behind the metallic wall. Maybe it should stand a little more on top, you could make it look nicely intrinsic. Maybe change the color or texture (not both) of the bricks in-between levels or in a pair of levels, right now they look repetitive and monotonous.

Thank you all for the praise! Makes me feel really great about myself! Muahah, anyway no the model was created from scratch using a picture of the laboratory as a reference, the texture was hand-painted using a WaCom Pen & Touch tablet and then I unwrapped the model ontop of the texture. ( I do things like that sometimes, live with it )

@ Rui. What bricks are you talking about? Those things surrounding the building are sandbags, and not bricks. ;)
About changing the texture/colour of each levels sandbags, that would not be possible because they all use the same texture.

SCALED DOWN VERISION OF THE TEXTURE.

As you can see there's still a little more space on the texture, I don't like leaving empty spaces so if you guys have any ideas of something I should add, just let me know!

Model looks good, alteast the building part, I'd say give the rocky parts a real make-over, needs way more polys and a better texture, try to make the wooden parts look older and more worn down, you should also take a look at that gold texture. Try to make it look more like gold nuggets rather than straw.
