Upgrading items

Hi,I am making a RPG and I want to add an upgrading system for items like in "Hero of the Empire"
But in the editor,when i click on the upgraded item to add the required items you will need to have to buy it (the upgraded item) I just can't add items.
There is only a list of units...
Help please

You actually have to trigger recipe systems and item requirements, because they aren't a default feature in Warcraft 3. I suggest taking a look here for a recipe system you can understand or add to your map easily enough.
