Unwalkable rock tile

What you could do, as I did once, is to replace the outland abyss tile with your preferable rock tile. The abyss tile is flyable, but not walkable nor available for boats or swimming turtles.

  1. Export the rock tile you wish to use from Warcraft MPQ, in .blp format. (Check tools for MPQ extractors)
  2. Import it.
  3. Change path to: TerrainArt\Outland\Outland_Abyss, make sure you have the abyss tile in your current tileset.
  4. Restart WE.

UMSWE has the feature "Customize Tile Pathability". The tile pathability data can also be found in TerrainArt\Terrain.slk, there is a column "walkable".

Alternatively, if you do not want to set blockers in World Editor, you can create them ingame via triggers if you check through the terrain (do Environment - Turn Terrain Pathing On/Off or units/destructables with a pathing map) or you read the w3e file and according to that change the path map file (see here under point 6).

Thanks guys. I don't think UMSWE is to friendly with my anti virus so I'll try out Brombie's idea when I got the time and devotion.
