Unable to load some maps properly

I'm playing through the 2P Campaign series with a friend and we've just started, doing the Human campaign. The first map and the third maps won't work properly. They load up fine but then the second player, we've switched so it's not one sided, gets disconnect. We cannot figure this out and would love some help.

Are you using the latest patch 1.27?

Actually, my brother and me are playing the co-op campaigns too (thanks for everything!)
But we can't load savecodes so it's really a pain that we lose all tomes and items with each new level even though we both have the patch and fill out the save code (I think) as we should.
