Ultimate Defense is a defense or survival game.

You control the Control and with it you have the power to control any human unit, even your allies/enemies if the citizens hate him and love you enough. Citizens will automatically build roads and such once you have placed a town center near them. Determining where they want to build can be made easier with lures and repellents that control where they want to go and build as with where they do not want to go and build.

The Map may look small but so is every unit and building. The largest buildings you can build are the same size of an orc burrow. Units have very low collision and interacting with walls will not be a problem if they are allowed to go through they can and if they are not they will have to attack.

Trees and crops may sprout up anywhere depending on terrain, natural disasters, and human interference. Every terrain piece can be changed using your units and will also change with the passing seasons; summer, fall, winter, and spring change the tile and units on them. The tile that you build buildings on can affect the building as will the seasonal change. For example farms will produce better on dark green grass but any tile can be terraformed during the year and will last for at least 6 months. Each month is a game day or it can be overridden with a vote.

Players start allied to each other but can attack each other but it would be in their best interest to stay toghether.

Enemy forces will attack and each enemy force is special. You may have one enemy or two. They are chosen either at random or by vote. The game currently supports 1 enemy force but I will add more with varying degrees of difficulty and complexity.
  • Sky-net - a hive mind that at first is not allowed to be attacked. A core constructs drones, which construct different nodes that are needed to preform every task this opponent makes. The different nodes and sensory towers control the units in place of a regular AI. Once a day has passed it will turn hostile and send out military units it had built in the mean time. Destroying the nodes does affect the AI. It is completely physical with no triggers or AI editor backing up how this force preforms. If it had built a large complex of nodes simply cutting them off from the core will render units "attached" to the nodes task-less. The machines that are practically invincible will need balancing.
  • (planned)Flood - Maybe a take on the halo series flood enemies.
  • (planned)Aliens - Get abducted and stuff.
