Alright I have completed the second one (Final result in first post). Soon I will be making the third one. I'm thinking of making a female character for the first time in my life.

    Two things:
You need to work on some impressive poses and I highly recommend you get some practice in drawing hands\arms\chests\legs etc. Every artist pass through that.

Overall nice null level, i mean, for not expirienced 2D artist you have some neat color\contrast work and the only thing you need - is some better execution.

really nod bad environtment and really weak creature design. Try use reference images for your anatomy buildings.

Yeah I agree with the creature design, but then again most of the pictures are actually more focused in sharpening my shading skills, rather than the design of it. Most of the newly added artworks are done in 2 - 3 hours, except for the competition entries and environment focused artworks.

When I came back here, I saw theres a concept art comp. hosted, thought it might be a good chance to give myself an actual try for creature design :)

Oh and also I added a new piece, the entry for Artstation 2D Environment Challenge.

normally I would post finished artworks straight away, but seemingly this thread is kinda dead, might as well post how I work.

I use Photoshop CS5 (Though any software that can support brush pressure is enough) and Wacom Intuos CTH-480 (borrowed) for all of my recent digital illustrations.

Update viewers! I'm really excited to see where this is going! This is by far my most detailed work, since I'm still learning!
