Monster Seed Recrafted Test Map
For school the teacher actually let me do a Warcraft 3 map for my project. Which turned out really well. I'm just posting this to see what people think of it. It's based off the original PS1 game Monster Seed and has a little over 6 weeks of work put into it. The map is unportected and there are bugs, and a few leaks.
Basic Overview!
The game starts in the world of Lumina (Latin for Light) which is just half of the actually world. There is another world that can be accessed which is that same but is the dark side named Umbra (Latin for Darkness). You start out as a young man who just graduated from the Academy of Callidus (Latin for Experience) for Rulers who goes out to make a name for him. You are given three Seeds to hatch at the Hatchery to create your own first three monsters. There are 21 different people in the first city of Conscientia (Latin for Knowledge). Each person can start your Episode, for 21 episodes total. Each Episode should take the player around 2.5 hours to complete. Instead of doing one major storyline we will give the player 21 different short stories to complete. Each episode will be divided into acts. Each Act should take about a half hour to complete with 5 Acts in an Episode. While these stories develop so will your character. Your hero will be given the choice to use Dark Seed Creatures. These creatures are extremely powerful, but that power comes to you at a cost. Each time you use them you life will start to shorten. Once your characters life has diminished he will be torn from Lumina and start to exist in Umbra. Umbra is a terrible place to be unless you can collect enough light to bring you back to Lumina. In this dark realm you can wander its vastness collecting Orbs of Light from around its vastness. There will not be much here to actually fight as without life you cannot bring creatures forth. There will be Light creatures known as Caste (Latin for Pure). There will also be many Dark beings here known as Atrox (Latin for Cruel) who will try to stop you. They cannot kill you but they will try to steal all your Light so that they may return to Lumina instead of you.
