Oh, ok. Only one hero, and only goes forth, no going back. The value is static. That would be easy, right?

NEW PROBLEM, SORRY IF NOT SO RELATED: I've been trying to increase the volume of this particular sound in my map. I was able to do it but whenever I import it, it's still has a really low volume. The original sound has a low volume so I decided to increase its volume.

For the range, is it an ability? If yes, either make multiple copies of the unit with lower ranges and when the ability levels up, replace unit with each unit, do this each time it levels up so each time the skill levels up, the range goes down. Or detect in a trigger the level of the ability and each level up of the ability, level up the upgrade but first configure the Long rifles upgrade and each time the upgrade level increase decrease the range.

I got that one now, don't worry. The sound is my problem now, it's really weird. I've increased the volume already with Audacity but when I import it, it still has a really low volume.

Did you try going to the Sund Editor and clicking the sound you want and increasing its volume? By the way the max sound is 127... I think. This is the only way or either trigger it but you cant go farther than 100% there so to put it short, there is no way if these two triggers didnt work for you.

Either edit the sound file or request the creator of it to do a louder one.

Its already on its max. What's bizarre is that I did edit the sound file, but when I import it, the volume is low again.

EDIT: Its okay now, I don't know what happened but it's ok now.
You probably forgot to restart the editor after importing the new sound.
Editor only loads assets once and then thinks it's still the same asset after reimporting it.

I'll just check it out again, I think I was mistaken.

But just to be sure, how do I trigger the Long Rifles? Like how will I turn my ranged unit to melee?

I used negative values to subtract my range.

Yes, your correct, use negative values to subtract the range. For the making a range to melee, is this an ability again? If so, a unit will be melee if it has a range of 100 to 200 but if your asking specificly on how to make them range to melee, make another unit that is a melee and in triggers if the ranged unit used this specific ability, replace the ranged unit with the melee and vice versa.

No, not exactly melee. I just want it to decrease its range to 125 to make it look melee but it's technically ranged. It's still not working though.

I've done the set current level of upgrade already. There must be something wrong with the upgrade itself.

Should I change something in the hero?

Make the unit be affected by the upgrade. Put in the fields of your unit Upgrades Used and add the Long Rifles to the unit. For the the range, yes the answer is make a unit based on the original unit but with shorter range then when the specific ability is casted replace the orginal unit with the unit that you've mde and vice versa.
