I am trying to change acquisition range in game by trigers to decrease unit range of attack. But this range do not changes. Could anybody explain me how it works? Or maybe anybody knows other ways to change unit attack range. Thanks.

ACQUISITION RANGE is different from ATTACK RANGE, Acquisition Range is the range in which the unit will acquire target while Attack Range is the range in which the unit(specifically a ranged unit) attacks. You must set the attack range for your unit in the object editor under this slot 'Combat - Attack Range'. Tower's acquisition and attack range is recommended to be equal(=)....
basically if a unit's attack range is greater than its acquisition range, that unit will not auto-attack at his maximum attack range but only at his maximum acquisition range, but he can still attack at max range if he was forced to do so...
Use dummy upgrades to increase range. Also note:
Though you can shrink Attack Range by changing the Aquisition Range in the Object Editor, this is not possible if you change the Aquisition Range in via triggers.
