Travel Destinations I: Egypt or China?

Here, I will start a series of threads like this, comparing two destinations and let me know where would you likely go.

So, Egypt or China?

I just was in Japan and I got so much bad signs about Chinese people and their hunger to money so I would go to Egypt. I've never been there.

China. Ma parents where there for 4 weeks (studiying chinese + marriage of chinese friends) and it was just awesome for them.

Just the food alone makes it totally worth :3

I love China for the lifestyle (of the ancestors, though, back in the Xia dynasty) and their amazing architecture, but I love Egypt for everything else (and architecture of course). It's hard to choose

China for the food and a few concerts. /o/

Largely depends on when. I'd avoid the summer in China mainly because of the large crowds of tourists China's famous sites attract. During the winter however, when I went there the Great Wall was largely empty with enough room for me to run about. It was fantastic. I hear during summer the Great Wall is choked.

I've never been to Egypt, so yeah.

I'm planning to make a trip in china if I would ever get the chance to gain/earn enough cash to see much of the great tourist spot, plus their knockoff brands

If I will choose egypt, then that's a good place to be indiana jones for a while
