I have played Shogun Total War. It was very challenging game with hard difficulty, so I had to try the hard difficulty couple of times before I completed it.

Why didn't you mention Rome Total War? It's also good game. I played with Rome first and I completed it with couple of weeks with normal difficulty. Then I played with Germany with hard difficulty and I also beat it with couple of tries.

Well, Total Wars are sometimes very nice games because of the challenge the computer makes.

Only played Shogun Total War, it was cool back in the day, but when I tried it again not long ago it seemed so blah.

I stopped playing Medevil Total war (non expansion) since it seemed badly made. It kept crashing to desktop with some memory error every 1-2 turns.

i've played medieval total war 2, when i play custom game, i cr8 300 man vs 2000 man, so it likes 300 movie!!, Lol.

I play rome, medieval 1 and medieval 2, currently i like medieval 2 the most, though it misses some things of medieval 1
