Map Info:

An epic altered melee map with some miscellaneous features. You have to slay your enemies with the new spectacular spells and new mighty units.

Future update: New loading screen, and also, youtube video. Furthermore, an Arch Druid hero for the Night Elf race.


Number of Players: 10 Estimated Gameplay time: 30-60 Minutes


Features:


Gold Mines

  • Some of them contains 25000 gold.

    They are guarded by strong creeps.

    The creeps drop precious items which can increase your Hero's power much.

    Always conquer a second or third mine. This will increase your gold income very much.



Creeps

Like in every melee map there are easy, medium and hard-difficulty creeps. They drop sometimes really useful items. However, beware of the creeps, because most of them are very strong. But you will claim your reward because they drop several items such as artifacts and tomes.


Neutral Buildings

There are several neutral buildings, they are guarded by creeps, except the Tavern. You can also find two custon neutral buildings, such as Artifact Shop, and Mercenary hiring lodge.

  • Four Mercenary camps
  • Five Goblin Mercants
  • Four Goblin Laboratories
  • Three Taverns
  • Two Marketplaces
  • Five Fountain of Healths
  • Five Fountain of Manas
  • and other custom buildings



Custom Heroes

There are several custom heroes which are more powerful that the standard heroes.They have spectacular and special abilities, including Auras which may increase your troops' health regeneration or decrease the enemy's moovement speed. Each of them has their own advantages and disadvantages. You might find them helpful in harmful circumstances.

Human, Orc, and Undead have 3 Custom Heores
Night Elf has two only, but one of them has a healing spell, too.

Damage and Spell Name Detection

These two feaures help you alot during the game becasue you can see how much damage did the units of the enemy or your units take. You can even see the name of the casted spell, which allows you to react instantly, and try to awoid the spell.

Well lets make a review...

The map was just what i tough. but yet with better things.
This map is mean't to be played online right? so you should remove the Standard victory from the triggers and replace by:
Event = Spirricus Dies
Effects = Grant victory to (owner of killing unit)

and so the first player to kill Spirricus wins. in case of melee battle between players maybe you should make all buildings invulnerable (exept towers due of attack) and so the player will be able to stay with his base and also the main building vulnerable but a bit stronger and remove attack from Undead Citadels, Halls of the Dead and Necropolis. so it may get a bit better if the main objective of each player is to kill Spirricus. but if is not forget what i said

So still the map Deserves 4.5 (awesome) because isn't all that different ( in triggers) from common Melee Maps.

You must have the third option *to be able to choose between the two victory condition, so the people that want to only ally-ing and kill supicirius (what ever, the name just too hard to spelled by me XD) can choose that, and the other that want to decent melee can also choose to play like that :), i see some tutorial in the tutorial section about voting

here's some races

  • naga - sure old but they have decent strategy (i love them very much!)
  • demons - another old race, but they have maximized the power and lowered defence, so their strategy also different
  • dranei - another old one, having akama as the hero make the dranei has something different from other races
  • Blood Elf - a common race that people tried to made (never seen a decent one) the blood elf has many strategies compared to other races
  • forsaken - have you tried the TFT campaign?, in the undead one, sylvanas windrunner (the undead ranger one) have decleare as her minion and one dreadlord as a forsaken
  • murgul - (eh?) yes murgul, they has different army compared to the nagas
  • high elf - this one can be passed, since some human unit is actually a high elf
  • dark elf - you may choose this
  • dysis - a race of my own, the power of this race is relied to the town hall (vm me for more info)

Many thanks, rysnt11. I will make these races. I would choose everything except the high elfs, as you already mentioned that they can be passed. :D Yes, i already won on easy difficulty the TFT campaings, such as the undead, too. :D I also saw them in Dark Ages of Warcraft. Have you played it yet? It is very good and cool, such as Azeroth Wars LR. :)
The first race which i will edit or make the naga race with some cool models. :D

Thanks for your review, Kobas. :DDid you asked the admin to remove the poll? I will fix that tooltip, and what do you think of the models, creeps and terrain. Unfortunately, i am new to triggering, that's why i cannot create new spells.
Yes, rysnt11 is making for me the spells and he made me cool ixy models and icons. I am planning to add more races to my map. Tell me which things did you like and which you didn't.

you said that the Frost Infernals (i think u meant Frost Giant) have Cold Armor spell but they imune to spells
well thats not a problem at all
he maybe can't use on himself but what about the others? i think that spell is not Self casting or would be non-sense do that if u could do something infinite based on Cloak of Fire and changing to cold effects but he casts on the allied creeps as well (at least he did when i was fighting them for a mine)

Well, The mur'gul actually are belonged to the Naga Race, since they appeared only when the Naga appeared on Warcraft III i believe , im sorry if im wrong tough
Murloc is an old pathethic race. units, defence and strategy lacks a lot but just like the Zerg on Starcraft, they are incredibly numerous so they can easily overwhelm their enemies, tough they are rare on surface land but on the underwater world of the Naga they are quite common, can easily see a village in there (lol i think that must be truth). The Mur'gul are different from the Murloc, for they are smarter (because they have spell casters) and are a stronger race in technology for their armor is quite good compared to human powerful armors. the mur'gul also are some sort of mutant murloc or an evolution because their very appearance is different, they have teeths alike sharp teeths of a shark what means that they are carnivore and not herbivore like the pathethic murlocs so far, they are stronger in muscles for meat have a lot of things on it that make people stronger (of course there are plants that do the same but not with same effects)

Half-Elves: I never noticed them on Warcraft 3 once but would be very nice since is one of my favorite races.
Dark Elves: Dark Elves are also known as Drow, they are pratically the same of the Nightelves but they are more alike High Elves on appearance, commonly red eyed, blue skinned and white haired from born... Red Eyes doesn' mean evil or something alike!! Dragons have red eyes and aren't evil! lol
Forsaken: would not be too useful make a race as 'Forsaken' because they are Undead anyway so they belong to Undead Race, because what makes part of the Forsakens? Undead Elves and Banshees. Would be tiny race tough.

(Continuing what i was saying because wasn't enough character space to talk on the other post)
Demons: One of my Fave Races as well, not much known about them exept about their thirst for power and magic... their agressivity makes them a symbol of fear. But most intresting on them is that some of them tries to undo their past and become pure as once, that can make awesome stories...
Draenei: i know nothing about they however but i don't liked their appearing on Warcraft III due to the fact of siding Illidan. Why? simple! they said want to freed themselves from the demons (magtheridon) but Illidan is serving an even more powerful Demon! a Great Demon Lord, teh leaders of the Burning legion and brother to Archimonde, Kil'Jaeden (i think they brothers).

Dysis: I 'nevur' heard about them once... is that really made by you? that race was you who created them for you own? if yes tell me more about them? (lol if you can do that, obviously send on my profile instead of here to don't waste these Threads) :thumbs_up:

Hey another great race to add on ur game Snow and Ice! would be adding the Worg Race :)
I LOVE ALL THOSE WOLF LIKE RACES :) Even Gnolls! (tough they're a pathethic race that looks like the Goths lol! only pillaging the riches of the other neighbors... ridiculous race lol)

Forsaken are more sorts of heroes than units so would be useless make them... Naga is one of my FAVE races as well :D
they are amazing and i also Like very much Illidan, one of my Fave Heroes. Yeah lol he is a very good guy but everyone hates him :(
The Voidwalkers would make a good hero don't you think?
But now, a very good hero would be an Ogre Lord.
Worg Race are one of most Amazing races (FOR ME) But Gnollish are putrid beasts :thumbs_down:
They don't do anything exept stole the riches of the nearby Cities, Villages and temples! i don't like them :(
But their appearance are very intresting to use, i would put them into my faves but pillaging sucks for me :(
Something i really like is a Nomadic people :thumbs_up:
like the Vikings, they never stablish a certain city, they always are traveling to different places... thats make me love them :thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
:fp:The Trolls are probably my FAVE (TOP 1 RACE FOR ME :ogre_haosis: :goblin_yeah: :grin:) :thumbs_up: but only the Ice Trolls, for Dark Trolls are just like the Orcs that build a certain kingdom, Forest Trolls are just like the Gnolls!! :( Echo Isles Trolls are bit better and i like them too. Ice Trolls are nomadic trolls from the north! (lol they are all i like :), north, ice, snow, nomadic, Warleadering governament kind, so is the Warchief who commands them)
I have made Custom Races as well but they already existed somewhere! :( hate that :(

Draenei are Helpless race lol i can't understand them, they have horrible appearance, and they don't know what they want! a Dragonspawn (Magtheridon) or a Eredar (Kil'Jaeden)! lol :thumbs_down:

Forsaken is a neutral side of the sourge, the unit should be:
  • banshee ranger (hero)
  • dread lord (hero)
  • gargoyle
  • banshee
  • ghoul
  • obsidian statue
  • wraith (white-colored banshee)
  • necromancer

Dreadlords actually are from the Burning Legion not Scourge, u must have mean't Lich instead... but no offense okay, i din't mean't to be rude :wink:
but however what you mean by 'Neutral Side' of the Scourge? im serious i din't understand that :ogre_hurrhurr:

Try playing the tft campaign :)

I do play... but for real the Dread Lords serves the Burning Legion Alone atleast nearly all of them died serving them like Tichondrius, Detheroc and the other one that i fogot the name. Varimathas i forgot him now... his brother i have no idea of his name but i know that he wanted to re-start the Invasion... but by 'Neutral Side' of the scourge i don't understanded what u mean... U mean those who served the Devastation of all the living? like Arthas that betrayed the Legion by telling to Illidan about the Gul'Dan Skull?

these words are in the Eredun, in other words, The Eredar's Languague, the Eredar if u don't know them , is the same race as Archimonde and Kil'Jaeden

Currently i am editing the Naga Race and after that i will edit the Demons, too. :D :wink:
Thanks for that guide about the Eredun language, now i know much more about them. :D the Demons will have a dreadlord. too, but this will be similar to Tichondrius. :D
I will look for more models via the nternet. :) The murgul race can be easily :goblin_yeah:maked, because i will make the buildings only from the murgum hunts and modify their colors. :)

I think this will be finished till October or November.:ogre_hurrhurr:

The TFT campaings are really cool, i played them all in 2008. August - November. I like especially the horde bonus campaign. It is like a hero defense. Rexxar is also a super hero with his Misha. :D

EDIT: I have just looked at the Draeneis in the Model section and unfortunately, the choice is not big enough, the best things are in it the two modles of Sellenisko. :) The other models are mostly projectiles and some other units which do not look like Draenei.
Well, here is General Vezax, too, but for me his looking a demon or a naga. :D

Maybe they do not like the Draenei very much. :/

we have understanded each other...
The Draenei are a wierd race, for frist they suddently appeared, then said they will to wipe out the demons but his 'master' IS a demon that will to dominate Draenor.. OMG i wished to understand Their supposed powerful minds...
The Murgul are a poweful race due to the fact their spells goes from 10 to 900 times more powerful than any human spell, 'WHY THE HELL?'
Well, the murgul learned the powerful Demonic Spells and mixed with the Nightelven Spells that the Naga teach them. a powerful combination... But, the Murlocs are a ridiculous Frog society with a bit of huts that looks like Carribbean Natives from 500 years ago LOL!

Yes, the Draeneis probably did not know that Illidan is a demon, too.

Yes, Murguls are very powerful, even the low-hitpoint-ones. Their spells are also powerful, i agree. :D Yes, Blizzard took the hut idea from the Carribbean Natives. I will try to search for more Murgul buildings.

As you can see, the most votes are at the 3rd choice. I saw that you voted on that, too, i think it will be the best choice. Then my map will ne much more famous.
I think now i know why are lots of users don't play melee maps. Because there are not many melee maps in THW. You shoud make a melee map, too. For terrainer i recommend rysnt11, he has a cool Terraining workshop, i have been terrained my map here, too by a skillful user. :)

Thanks for the Advice, but i actually don't upload maps, skins of models, last time i did was 3 years ago and my map had got stolen, after that it tryed make a campaign but i don't think it would be even approved, there is a bit of bugs that i can't fix and also a loooot of triggers that i need and have no idea of how to do. The most farther i gone in triggering was making cinematics... I also tough about putting some members of the Hive into m campaigns, Apocalypse was the main, he would fit very well as a god hero from my campaign, but i din't wanted anyone get disapointed with me in anyway... But i will make some melee maps.

Would you send me your map? I won't steal it i promise i just want to play with it. :) But pleaasew do not protect it becauue maybe i can learn much things in it. :D It might be cool and interesting.
Maybe i will upload a second altered melee map. It needs a big terraining fixing so i will post in to the Terraining Workshop. But i need to edit the terrain a bit because its size is 320x320. :D I hope you will like that, too. Howeve, it needs a lot of fixing. :D

LOL im sorry dude i have none in the moment, i just play a few hours it then i just keep deleting olders and creating new and on the moment i need do one. im yet thinking on what i will do. Im thinking on doing something about spacial things liek starships and you know, like Starwars but there is no way i can make a Barrage skill for my ships work! i can't understand why the hell :(
Without making it work i can't make any capital ships (huge ships like Carriers and Cruisers) just fighters :( and that would make my fun sink with the map.
if you could make one i would gladly do something on your map in return :) but still then i would need remake the map

thats make them more slower to rise :thumbs_up:
Naga have very few buildings (on standart Race) and thats what makes them easily to create units and crush you enemies while they are yet searching...
The Barrage Problem is no triggering is just an ability that theres no way to get it working... there is the tuturial to you see:

There is where i made my trial to create a multiple shot for Starships but dang no working :( Thats sucks.
Im great fan to Starwars, mostly folk actually like Vader, Emperor and those idiot but me by other side, i like the parts of the Soldiers and ships on combat, instead of the Jedies just killing Sith and Sith killing jedies, thats somewhat bothering actually... i like the action, thats why i love the Clone Wars series more than the Movies.
But stil my favorite is the Spacial Combats than any other kind :D
Is just most amazing :D thats why i love Stars Battlefront II
you mostly fight as a soldier (or Ship) than a Jedi or Sith.

I like Starwars, too, Darth Vader is my favourite caracter, too, and i like that spaceships and things like that, and C3PO and R2D2. :D I will look for the Stars Battlefront II. I hope it is an awesome game! My favourtie patrs of StarWars are the 4, 5, and 6th episodes where Luke Skywalker fights againts Darth Vader. :DD

Sice school has just began, i cannot work as many in this map as in summer but it will be with custom races, soon. :D

And wow, the number of downloads are more than 2000!! :ogre_haosis:

Thanks, rysnt11, i think the northern part would be excellent for the shallow water and for the deep water. :D Well, do not destroy the terrain very much, i recommend for the naga race the middle water part, too. :D Well,m i am patient. :)
I hope you will be out of this hospital soon. :D

About the naga, well i like them a bit, but now, i only played as Naga one time on the entire game, on the blood elf campaign, i don't understand much of them about these Deep and Shallow Temple of the tides...
Hey Magterno11, im trying to look out for some maybe new races for your Melee, for now i only found playable races the Tuskarr and Pandaren and the gnolls as well, there are worker Models here on the hive for download that u can use them of these three races... The Ogres as well but since they are part of the Horde...

Thanks for the ideas, Warchief Aeon, i will put these three races into my map, too, the Tuskarr and the Pandaren. :D It sounds great.
I will look for the workers, and i think i will put the Ogres into my map too. :D In Warcraft 2 the Ogres are part of the Horde, but in W3, they are not anymore, although they are become part again in the bonus campaign. :D

i hope i get it back soon so i can judge that melee war there. I hope Spirricius is strong as once (or stronger)
 
here's some races

  • naga - sure old but they have decent strategy (i love them very much!)
  • demons - another old race, but they have maximized the power and lowered defence, so their strategy also different
  • dranei - another old one, having akama as the hero make the dranei has something different from other races
  • Blood Elf - a common race that people tried to made (never seen a decent one) the blood elf has many strategies compared to other races
  • forsaken - have you tried the TFT campaign?, in the undead one, sylvanas windrunner (the undead ranger one) have decleare as her minion and one dreadlord as a forsaken
  • murgul - (eh?) yes murgul, they has different army compared to the nagas
  • high elf - this one can be passed, since some human unit is actually a high elf
  • dark elf - you may choose this
  • dysis - a race of my own, the power of this race is relied to the town hall (vm me for more info)

What about mine? i still have to post my map. Ill redeem the decency of the BE races, muajajaja!

What is your race, Darkfang? Please send it to me in a pm (the model file, icons, details, etc.) . It might be interesting. :D Yes i think yours will be good. :D
