Map Info:

An epic altered melee map with some miscellaneous features. You have to slay your enemies with the new spectacular spells and new mighty units.

Future update: New loading screen, and also, youtube video. Furthermore, an Arch Druid hero for the Night Elf race.


Number of Players: 10 Estimated Gameplay time: 30-60 Minutes


Features:


Gold Mines

  • Some of them contains 25000 gold.

    They are guarded by strong creeps.

    The creeps drop precious items which can increase your Hero's power much.

    Always conquer a second or third mine. This will increase your gold income very much.



Creeps

Like in every melee map there are easy, medium and hard-difficulty creeps. They drop sometimes really useful items. However, beware of the creeps, because most of them are very strong. But you will claim your reward because they drop several items such as artifacts and tomes.


Neutral Buildings

There are several neutral buildings, they are guarded by creeps, except the Tavern. You can also find two custon neutral buildings, such as Artifact Shop, and Mercenary hiring lodge.

  • Four Mercenary camps
  • Five Goblin Mercants
  • Four Goblin Laboratories
  • Three Taverns
  • Two Marketplaces
  • Five Fountain of Healths
  • Five Fountain of Manas
  • and other custom buildings



Custom Heroes

There are several custom heroes which are more powerful that the standard heroes.They have spectacular and special abilities, including Auras which may increase your troops' health regeneration or decrease the enemy's moovement speed. Each of them has their own advantages and disadvantages. You might find them helpful in harmful circumstances.

Human, Orc, and Undead have 3 Custom Heores
Night Elf has two only, but one of them has a healing spell, too.

Damage and Spell Name Detection

These two feaures help you alot during the game becasue you can see how much damage did the units of the enemy or your units take. You can even see the name of the casted spell, which allows you to react instantly, and try to awoid the spell.

  • Fixed some terraining issues, balanced starting locations and filled up with trees, and the north camp can also be reached from two directions, now.
  • Bandit Camp from southwest is removed, and another creep camp is added in replacement.

  • Removed the Electric Rider from the game with his spells

Thanks for moderating my map, Vengeancekael.

  • I will make the credis list better and include resources, too. I will put this into the quests menu.
  • I create better spells for the Undead Heroes, but unfortunately, i am not very good at triggering.
  • And how do i fix memory leaks? I do not know anything about it.
  • I am going to look for tutorials, they must help me.

I see your point, but the spells were just finished by the end of summer by another user. :) I hope you will understand it. And i was on holiday, too.
Till October or November it will be finished. I just need to find someone to make some undead spells.

Well there is something, you know im making a Relic system like the AOM relics, wich grant bonus to units and stuff. There is one problem with the ACTIVABLE relics, thus whenever you kill the altar and move the relic to another altar the CD fades to 0, so you can do that all over again, and relics are powerful, so u can guess what kind of a problematic bugg im talking about.

So i need to know if there is a way to make the cooldown of an item activate when you acquire it.

I tested the map and its awesome.From what i can tell everything is well balanced for altered melee map.If you want my opinion from 0 to 25 i give you all 25 and here are some of my thoughts:

General:
* The lack of low-level creeps is a problem, as it forces you to stay in your base until you're strong enough to take them on.
* Snow Queen has a bad portrait and is immediately available.
* Many creep camps have normal reaction distances and/or are too close together. I often end up fighting half a dozen Crystal Infernals at once because they help each other.

Human:
* Peasant and Mage have bad portraits.
* Templary Chaplain should be Templar.
* Archer uses Long Rifles upgrade.
* Two of the Ranger's abilities involve her getting hit in melee. She's a ranged hero, she has no business there.
* Improve Armor has only one level.

Undead:
* Attack speed boost on the Frost Wyrm? Really?

Night Elves:
* Only 2 custom heroes?
* Sorceress has 4 skills immediately available, and Nature's Blessing uses "a" as its hotkey.

Orcs:
* Troll Magician's aura says it slows down friendly units, and has all skills immediately available.
* Axethrowers use spear projectiles.
* Lightning Path's dummy costs food.

I will add some more low-level creeps.
Sorrey but I cannot fix the portraits, I did not make the models. I have changed the hero to Templar, added for the Archer the Longbow upgrade. I could not make another ability to Ranger, can you help be? Also I would like an ultimate arrow spell for it, but I did not find a spell like that in the Spell section.

Yes, you have a good point, the Bone Toughness now has an increased defence effect instead of the attack speed boots. I fixet the Sorceresses Aura, and the hotkey.
Unfortunately, I am not good at making spells. Though I planned a Druid hero. I fixed the tooltip, now says enemy units. The projectile is also changed, and the food is reduced to 0.

Can you point out other bugs?

Thanks, for the offering, I made a stunning Crippling Arrow, and an aura which decreases enemy ranged attacks. Also, would you check if the Psycho Hook spell deals any damage? It is a copied spell, but I have fixed it.

I updated the map, editing the item tables by the island, and making it unreachable by air.

Your name is now included in the Special thanks to list. :)

* Psycho Hook seems to work (though I'm not sure about the range), but why give it to a ranged hero?

* Creeps still have overly long reaction distances.

- Disabled icon is now fixed, I added it to the correct path. Sorry, I accidentaly forgot it.

- I fixed the aura, now it does not affect the Ranged Hero. Honestly, I don't know, the NE priestess of the moon has the Trueshot Aura. How do I make this ability to reduce melee damage? Or should i make a new ability?

- Good to hear that, but can you check its triggers, if it works 100% properly? This spell has not made by me, I just imported it. You can see the creator's name in the Special Thanks section in my description.

- I fixed the creeps' target acquistion range to camp, only the creeps which are near to bases.

- And I also fixed the terain a bit, the northwest part, I also added there an easy-level troll creep camp, instead of the hard one.

Do you have any more suggestions?
