Welcome to my unique game "Throne of Gods"
... this map is finished, i just need three people to test the multiplayer mode, before i can upload it! The 2-3 playermode was tested and everything works, i just wanna exclude, to have forgotten something
IMPORTANT: The game is divided into two parts. The "Battle-Time" and the "Configuration-Time"!
The "Battle-Time" is very simple and easy to understand, but the "Configuration-time" is very complex. Therefore, take a look in the "TUTORIAL-SECTION" to understand the system!!!
In this game you take on the role of a king/Leader of a race and you can decide everything, realy everything!
The goal is to conquer and defeat the enemy cities, resources and tower, and many features waiting for you.
Form your own army, you can arm your troops with a whole assortment of items, the possibilities and combinations are almost endless!
Helmets, armors, shields, bows, arrows, wands, magic hats and robes, swords, maces, mauls, axes, hatchets ... and everything is InGame visible!
Your army fights and casts independently, you only have to decide wich Town or resource or tower they have to attack,
but you have also a god by your side, you can cast spells with him to help your troops.
"Throne of Gods" is a round based "colonization domination game"!
At first you have to select your race, after this you have 30 seconds to configure your army.
BATTLETIME:
In each round the battlefield is random generated and you will start with one city, with 10 population
(a big number above your city shows you the population)
You can send waves of units to other cities, to conquer them, each time when you do that, the population in your city is halved, the other half will go to the target you have chosen.
There a three kinds of conquerable points:
- City
Generate troops, wich can used to conquer other conquer points or for earning gold or tech points.
If you can hold a city until the end of a round, you get 1 evolution point
You can unlock new classes with gold and research new technologies with tech points!
- Resource
If you can hold a resource until the end of a round, you get 3 resource (of the kind of the resource)
You can also invest 10 population while the "Battle-Time" in the resource to get 1 resource instantly.
With the resources you can purchase new items, to improve your army!
- Tower
A "conquer Point" which is easy to hold, to defend other conquered "Conquer Points"
The winner is, who can defeat all his enemies within one round.
Each round becomes longer, so it's only a matter of time, until the winner is established
Yes, it means what it means ... and I'm very proud!
Each round in "Throne of Gods" is completely randomly generated.
This included all the objects and roads.
Look:

Every building and road you can see on this image, is randomly generated.
By the way, its only possible to send units to targets, which are connected with a road! If no road exist, you can build one, for gold!
You never start with a enemy player as a neighbour!
And each round is a certain "level", this means, sometimes the battlefield is covered with snow and 50% of the conquerable points are cities, 25% are towers and 25% are resources.
Sometimes 50% are cities and 25% are low resources like lumber and iron ore and the other 25% are high resources like minotaur ivory and blood ore!
The amount of conquerable points is dependent on the number of players and the level.
Sometimes there are 5 conquerable points per player, sometimes 7 ...
So, you cant plan your next steps before battle and its always something new!
One of my favorite parts of the game!
Did you ever saw a orc with a shield and a sword in wc3?
Or an elf with a axe?
In "Throne of Gods" is everything possible ... and the features of the items are overwhelming!
I take it on with "The elder scrolls" (Skyrim) ...
I hate this stupid item system ... you find a sword, which does 15 damage,
after this you find a sword, which does 17 damage. And eventually you will find a sword which does 21 firedamage, wow ... just wow ... You never get into the situation to make a decision about which weapon is really better, because it mostly revolves around one fucking number.
In "Throne of Gods" the objects habe much more to offer.
For example, a sword has a "weigh", "damage", "handling" and a "special ability" ... i show you 2 examples of weapons:
"Iron Sword"
Damage: 25
Handling: Somewhat Cumbersome
Weight: 9
~ Special Ability ~
Bleeding:Has a chance to cause a bleeding wound.
Causes every second 3 damage, for 10 seconds and is stackable.
Each point in martial arts increases the chance by 0,5%
"Iron Axe"
Damage: 32
Handling: Cumbersome
Weight: 12
~ Special Ability ~
Cleave: Has a chance to destroy the shield of the opponent.
Causes every second 3 damage, for 10 seconds and is stackable.
Each point in martial arts increases the chance by 0,5%
You see, the axe causes more damage, but the handling is cumbersome (slower attackspeed) and the weapon weighs more.
But the special ability of the axe is better against units with shields, because there is a chance to destroy them. But this is only worthwhile, if the attribute of "Martial Arts" is high enough!
Now i will come to the description of the items:
DAMAGE: The amount of extra damage
HANDLING:
- Very easy = + 100% Attack Speed
- easy = + 80% Attack Speed
- Moderate = + 60% Attack Speed
- Somewhat Cumbersome = + 40% Attack Speed
- Cumbersome = + 20% Attack Speed
- Very Cumbersome = + 0% Attack Speed
WEIGHT: The amount of weight!
If all items weigh more than the strength of the unit, the unit suffers a malus on his agility, if you overdo it, the unit even loses streength.
For example:
A unit with 30 STR and 30 AGI carries a total weight of 30 = nothing will happend, because STR >= WEIGHT
A unit with 30 STR and 30 AGI carries a total weight of 45 = the unit loses 15 AGI, because the difference between WEIGHT and STR is 15
A unit with 30 STR and 30 AGI carries a total weight of 65 = the unit loses 30 AGI and 5 STR, because the difference between WEIGHT and STR is 35, and the diffrence between 35 and AGI is 5!
ACCURACY(only bows): Increases the attribute "Markmanship" of the carrier!
ARMOR(only armoury): Increases the armor of the carrier!
ARROW PROTECTION(only shields): Reduce the damage caused by arrows
CONJURING(only arcane items): Increases the conjuring of the carrier
And dont forget the "Special Ability", almost every item has one!
Take a look at a few of these abilities:
Backstab: Attacks from behind, cause extra damage in the amount of 150% of the attackers attribute "agility"
"Backstab" is stackable with the "Sneack Attack" of rogues
Dismember: Has a chance to remove all the agility of the enemy.
Each point in martial arts increases the chance by 0,2%
Manaburn: Burns with each hit, the mana of the enemy unit, in the amount of the attackers strenght.
if the enemy unit has no mana, the manaburn turns into pure damage
Orc Slayer: Does additonal damage against orcs, in the amount of 50% the carriers strength
Moon Blessed: +25% Damage at night
Lights Strike: Killing a unit by daylight, will release dangerous light rays from the body of the deceased in all directions, that cause 15 damage to all units, who are in the radius of 500.
Increases the "Sun Strike" damage of sun knights by 10
Blood Steel: Returns 35% damage to enemy melee attackers
Light Shield: Surrounds the carrier with a light shield level 3
Light Arrow: Each arrow, fired from the archer, heals a friendly unit, who is near located of the target point, by 5
Helmet: Immune against "Headshot". On successful "Headshot", the helmet is destroyed!

Classes are a realy imortant part of the game, they give your units a percentage attribute bonus, a special ability and many more.
Every race has "7" classes and one prestige class, the prestige class is a unique class!
There are 3 kinds of classes: "Melee", "Ranged" and "Arcane"
MELEE - CLASSES
FIGHTER

ATTRIBUTE BONUS
+ 25% Strength
+ 50 Health
+ 7 Martial arts

Counterstrike: If an fighter gets frontally attacked by an enemy unit, there is a chance for an extra attack, which cause damage in the amount of 50% of the current attributes of "strength" and "agility"
Each point in martial arts increases the chance by 1%
WARRIOR

ATTRIBUTE BONUS
+ 20% Strength
+ 25 Damage
+ 3 Martial Arts
+ 75 Health
~ SPECIAL ABILITY ~
Throwing Hatched: If a warrior is attacked by a ranged unit that is staying away from the Warriors between 250-750, the warror will hurls a hatched on the attacker. He caused 50 damage and stuns for 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 10 seconds
ROGUE

ATTRIBUTE BONUS
+ 50% Agility
~ SPECIAL ABILITY ~
Sneak Attack: If an rogue attacks an enemy unit from behind, he cause extra damage in the amount of 200% of his current attribute of "agility"
BARBARIAN

Rage: Get +1 agility for every hit

Counter Helix: When attacked, its a chance that the mauler performs a helix counter attack, dealing damage to all nearby enemies, in the amount of 50% of the current attribute of "strength"

TRAPPER

Trap: When a hunter sees an enemy, there is a chance, to plant in invisible trap.
The trap is triggered When an enemy steps near. The trap will deal 50 damage to all nearby enemy units in a radius of 500.
Each point in agility increases the chance by 1%
BLADE DANCER
ATTRIBUTE BONUS
+ 25% Agility
+ 5 Finess
~ SPECIAL ABILITY ~
Dancing Strike: Teleports behind of a enemy unit, and deals damage.

~ The Configuration Layout ~

Red -> Unit-Type: Here you can see your Unit-Types, just cast the "Classes" or "Items" on it, to equip them. You can also click on the units, and increase or decrease the share/wave of this Unit-Type, with the +/- Buttons
Orange -> Workshop: You can do 3 things with that building.
1. Unlock classes
2. Build barracks (increases the amount of customable "Unit-Types", up to 5)
3. Enlarge your treasury or mana well
Yellow -> Casern: Here you can see all the classes, the unlocked and the locked. Just click on an unlocked class and cast it on a "Unit-Type" to give that "Unit-Type" the desired class
Green -> Melee/Ranged/Armory/Arcane-Arsenal: Here you can see all the researched items. Just click on an item and cast it on a "Unit-Type" to give that "Unit-Type" the desired item
Blue -> Melee/Ranged/Armory/Arcane-Laboratory: Here you can research all the researchable items of your race. Click on the "Blue Bottle"-Icon to invest "Tech-Points" to unlock the items.
When you have the required resources, you can purchase the items by clicking on it, after this, they will be disappear from the laboratory, and appear by the arsenal of the kind of item.
Dark Blue -> Resources: Here you can see all your conquered resources
Dark Red -> Treasury/Mana Well: Here you can see how many gold or mana you have!
Purple -> Race-Attributes: Here you can improve your race attributes, but you need "Evolution-Points"!
Brown -> Exclamation Mark: Just click on it, to see your current race attributes
White -> God: Here is your god, he is like a hero. Use his spells during the battle!
Black -> Stolen Technlogies: Whenever you steal a technology from your enemy, you can purchase it here!
