Nope. Not here. Only a few people tried this and I think none of them mods warcraft, so I don't think any member of this forum has tried it....hmm, apparently Shados did.
I don't believe this.
I know enough about the sleepingcyclus to know that the most intense sleep comes after an hour or something which lasts for like 30 minutes. After that comes a 5 minute REM period. Then it starts over. Every cyclus lasts for +-90 minutes (from person to person). And most people need 8 hours of sleep.
(if I remember correctly)
The body supposedly gets acquainted to attaining REM sleep within a short amount of time when using this schedule. If I remember correctly by what Shados said on chat.
As for the placebo effect, I don't see how that would be effective for dealing with pain. Placebo effect takes place when you don't consciously know that the stimulus is not working. IE: You believe it to be working. Essentially, if you know that a placebo is a placebo, it's useless.
well not exactly, but i have changed to a new work out diet that I thought was good, and it requires me to eat EVERY 2 hours, that means through the night. wish me luck.

l3rn2remsleep. I think polyphasic sleep is a great idea. The problem is, its long-term effects haven't been documented, unless you count a year's worth of blogging, and you'd have to be a fucking hermit (see: aforementioned bloggers) to have a schedule flexible enough to do polyphasic sleep.
