/CRY /CRY. No, Warcraft lore ain't fucked up. It's actually pretty good, and the WoW lore is for gameplay reasons, so that can't be considered as true lore, except for the Argent Crusade.

Even so, it still is needed for gameplay reasons. You're saying Blizz Lore sucks, but it surely should have some good points after creating a whole fantastic world, lore for WC III.

The lore chaos was fault by many people. Writers that wanted quick cash (not all writers), programmers of WoW, especially ones who create quests and last the WoW idea it self and most fault was because of Burning crusade patch. They just tried to add to much they lost control of all events and characters and there are many holes and contradiction in lore. In truth there is no way to save it from corruption. It is just to late to tell the world that most popular game is a lie.

And Arthas really didn't know he would get enslaved by using the blade. Only on the last second, but if he was going back then he would've been killed by the Undead Forces.

Well most people in middle ages are idiots. So they don't know what happened to Arthas. In their eyes he was good when he left and returned evil.

Actually that is why we divided WoW lore from everything else in this group. This is kinda warcraft RTS site so WoW lore isn't welcomed. Blizzard announced that Warcraft 4 will not use WoW lore.

Tirion Fording is from the orginal warcraft 1-2 so he is uber pwnage because he is one of the orginial characters. So arthas can go fuck himself with his Forstmourne -.- PWNED.

He didn't betray anyone! In fact, he wanted to save his people, and the only way he could destroy Mal'Ganis was through Frostmourne. He didn't knew the effects.

Arthas wanted to kill Mal Ganis (which he did). He was so obsessed that he didn't care about anything. He killed whole city without even considering alternative like Uther wanted. He just wanted to stop undead.
Also Arthas attacked undead and he didn't defend humans.

Or leaving them to attack Scourge. He was obsessed to destroy undead but I think more because they dared to attack his kingdom.
