I was thinking what would happen if the lich king was defeated by Tirion Foundrying (Ashbringer)? I've been wondering for a long time what would happen if the lich king was killed....

Who knows? I bet he isnt killed that easily.
Arthas will die(yep, he is still alive), but spirit of Nerzhul(and evil part of Arthas)will continue... to do... evil stuff.

no Alagremm how many times do i have to repeat myself. It's Arthas now no Ner'Zul involved anymore. they fought some kind of Soul battle and Arthas won and took complete control. Arthas will keep doing evil stuff but Ner'Zul is gone.

But there really isnt any sign of Nerzhuls spirit, except in the visions of Yogg-Saron.

if you read the books you see that Arthas completely takes over. now i can't get a qoute since i don't own the book it's my friends :/

lol yeah Yogg-Saron i hate him his god of death. Anyway i still think that if Arthas Dies the Scourge is Screwed

yeah i do but i still i wish blizzard made two paths and each one is playable one that has arthas doesn't go evil and the other where he does wouldn't that be cool? or too confusing like the book twlight.

well first they were put in these so called camps many died and many re-united under Thrall. another part fled back to dreanor. and when the scourge came the remains were killed.

How did undead get to the Kalimdor anyway?If they used ships wouldn't they first attacked human and orc colonies?

These were actually forces of the Burning Legion.
I guess they teleported there with Mannoroth, Tichondrius and Archimonde.
They just used the undead because it was the only "demonic" race they could use.

In other word Blizzard was lazy.But Arthas was there also.

He actually only came to tell Illidan about the Skull of Gul'dan(I think for Lich Kings safety he shouldnt have done that). Then he returned to Lordaeron.

Well it was nice when he wound out that Kil'Jaden tricked him into killing Dranei.

Yeah, its nice to find out that you killed thousands of poor draenei and his own men, for nothing.

I was surprised to read that Dranei and Kil'jaden are mentioned in Warcraft 2 manual.
It was like story from Guldans point of view.There was even and old picture of Kil'Jadn and he looked more like devil then.(Draneis were never described.)

From Guldans point of view Dranei were week people that he used to keep horde together.After they disappeared it was a nightmare to keep the Horde on short leash.

This is so off topic and I say the scourge failed it never destroyed the dwarfs or gnomes or expanded south.

It actually isn't off topic. Guldan was Lich Kings apprentice when Ner'Zhul was alive. It was lich King that killed dranei and destroyed Dreanor.

But it is strange how undead never went south and destroy Khaz'modan?

Thats because they never crossed the great wall that divides Lordaeron(Hillsbrad foothills) and Arathi Highlands.
Stromgard succesfully defended southern Eastern Kingdoms, and Khaz Modan.
But then it was destroyed by the upcoming forces of ogres and the Syndicate.

Sorry but I can't believe that Stormwind could stand against Scourge when Quel'thalas, lordearon and Dalarn couldn't do nothing. I belive that reason was that Scourge was about to do that when Illidan cracked the Frozen throne and made millions of undead mindless. Also Archimond said that he enjoyed crushing human nations which means that he actually destroyed all but probably was latter removed.

Actually Legion and Scourge only succesided in destroying Lordaeron.
The Burning Legion went to Kalimdor, and the Scourge was destroying the last humans, especially because their main leader-general was gone.

Dalaran was destroyed by Archimonde and Quel'thalas is nothing but ashes.

But lets think about this Lordaeron was caught off guard when its armies were disperised. And now the last human nations have banned together to defeat the scourge i think that stormwind is the most safest place in my books.

Yea it was just destroyed couple of times. There is no safe place for alliance.

My hopes for Arthas: I just hope he gets killed, according through his plan, has enough power to return and kills secretly all main leaders of Azeroth, then to storm it with the legions of Undead he has hidden..

Stormwind was destroyed so many times that they could simply say to Arthas "go right in"

I think that Arthas will first take care of Sylvanas. I doubt that F. guys will have their "free will" for much longer.

He once said "I didnt give you death once. I wont make the same mistake twice" or something like that.
Even if Scourge will be destroyed, Forsaken will take their place.
Spreading plague and killing all the living... Sylvanas has rotten branes.

I remember in one campaign where Arthas-Lich King comes to Lordearon and finds forsaken attacking Kel'thuzad. Then he from the high top says "serve me my warriors...." and more then half of Forsaken army joined Scourge (mostly the mindless part not banshees) also Varimatharas took that chance and betrayed Sylvanas who then gathers creeps from to help her escape to Theramore.

Oh, I played the beginning of that campaign.
Didnt like the quality of the campaign.

There aren't much good but I still finish them so I could learn trigger stuff. The best I think is that campaign where you lead Nerubians and Dragons against undead. It was hard to protect capital city from millions of undead.
