The Scourge v1.10

Firstly, I want to thank those on THW for use of their excellent models, so thank you very much =)

This map is based off a similar idea to the original attacks of the Scourge on the Human Alliance before they... well lost.

A last alliance of Men, Elves and Dwarves is taking up arms against the unending power of the Scourge. The alliance must band together and use teamwork by defending and attack with each other to defeat the Scourge invaders and can only achieve victory by destroying their two main Black Citadels.

The Scourge is hungrily expanding their dominance in Azeroth, and has no plans of stopping their advance here. They must defeat the pathetic Humans by overwhelming and dividing their alliance while working together with the other Scourge force. They must destroy the three Cathedrals to show the alliance that their lands are lost.

Alliance: Play as one of five unique races of the alliance in an attempt to remove the Scourge threat from your homeland. Battle with your allies using custom models such as Royal Guards and Cataphracts, altered races, destroyable bridges and much more.

Scourge: Use the much loved Scourge race to plague your opponents into skeletons and other minions to fight for you. Construct an infinite army of skeletons and zombies to defeat the well defended Alliance, and summoning powerful minions of the Burning Legion to aid you.

I didn't exactly keep a record of this sorry, but since I never uploaded it online it doesn’t really matter =)

1.10

- I have created 5 different races to replace the plain human race that existed before. These are Northern Humans (Red), Dwarves (Blue), Wizards (Teal), Elves (Yellow) and Southern Humans (Orange). Each race has unique and powerful units as well as some custom models to help improve the reality of the game.
- Improved terrain (Still more to come).
- Basic opening cinematic.
- Bridges now create a ping on the mini map when destroyed.
- Increased the amount of units the Scourge starts with.
- Probably more, but I've forgotten....
- More obtainable units from the Legion

1.10b

- Screenshots up thanks to lil ant.
- New hero model for Northern Humans.
- Neutral units added around the map with item drops.
- Fixed Cathedral item tiers.
- Fixed unit upgrade tiers.
- Introduction of critters!
- Slight changes to unit costs of Light Calvary and Cataphract.

    Like the idea of the map! However, some AI would be nice. I know it suggests full house but I think there should be AI defender which has units in all the bases and an AI scourge which attacks in waves until the other scourage are dead! or something like that, but that is just a suggestion. I'm going to give +Rep because of the idea of it =)

    +The Idea was nice
    XThe terrain was OK
    - there isnt enought custom stuff,like all the human players (not player 5) should have a human rifleman/crossbowman custom model witch can be found on the hive.
    -There should be a way to know what hero and base you're gonna end up with
    - Not enought cusom races.And by that i mean that lets say orange should have stronger mages,yellow should have High elven units,teal should have better knights and so.

    coming to think of it; im not sure if i even finished the terraining. computer reformat and losing later versions of the map ftw.
    question: why should player 5 (im assuming u mean yellow) not get human/rifleman custom model?
    although part of the reason for the changing the human race was because i wanted to remove the whole dwarf and elf aspects from the humans.
    how would i tell people what hero/base they are gna end up with?
    as for your idea of customing the races, i totally agree. guess i was so wrapt up in the idea of of making the human vs scourge aspect show through that it kinda made me not look into making the game more enjoyable.

    Well player 5 yellow's hero is sylvanas and she's an elf,also the archers are female elfs...

    You could still post the changes in the hiveworkshop description.
    Name all of its features in the hiveworkshop description.
    In the hiveworkshop description. Just make the description in a comment box so you can use colors, bold text etc.

    lol um i've not made any AI before so i don't think id be very good at it, but i might give it a go, im sure there some tutorials on how to make AI somewhere!

    If you make this melee, instead of just altered melee, i might just download it.

    So i played the new version and these are my toughts:
    +I like how the races are now custom
    -I dont like the new knight model and the dwarven guardian
    -The cost of a knight is 245 gold and 30 lumber,the cost of the new better knight is 160 gold 60 lumber and he has +100 hp and +10 attack.
    Some tips:add some creeps that drop stuff.Improve terrain.

    EDIT: i've played it now (kind of because i testing on my own =p) the custom units are good =] although the elven ranger ? is it male or female? coz if it male u probably need to change sound set. Oh there are two Arthas' (deathknight and paladin), doesn't really make sense! so i think you should use different names that you have made up. this will help it be even more orignial. keep editing it!!

    thanks for the help with the screenshots lil ant. couldnt get the whole hidden thing to work though, oh well

    i looked through the editor at all 4 'knight' units and none cost 160g and 60l.
    hmm, if ur talking about the cataphract which i assume you are, its more expensive than the regular knight...

    Oh yeah my bad,the cataphract was 260g and about 70l ,thats a little more than the knight but the stats of the cataphract are better so everyone's going to use cataphracts.
