What's the scariest game you've ever played? And how long could you not sleep after playing it?


Mine was "Hunted house" (The name of the game is pretty common.) I couldn't sleep for a week.

Nope. It was a flash game. It's a mistery solving game. The boss fight scared me.

EDIT: I think it was this. I'm not sure. But if the story in the beginning is "My car crashed and I needed a place to stay. So I went to the creepy house.", that is the game.

Either Amnesia or Dead Space 2. But they're both kind of different sub-genre's in horror, Amnesia is more mystery-scary and dead space keeps you on your toes and you know something is going to happen only you don't know when.

But i actually don't find games scary really, i think "creepy'' fits me better.

Silent Hill only 1 to 3. the rest was action oriented. basically just like what happened to resident evil.

A wonderful game for scary moments was LIMBO. The atmosphere in the game was really dark and threatening, only made by music and ... yeah, darkness. And maybe because you only play a little kid. In these moments when you get hunted by the big spider i regurlary pooped my pants

Minecraft no doubt its fcking scary when you don't have a torch in hand, specially when you're mining then suddenly a cavern appeared with lots of zombie/skeleton and before I forget that creepy jumping spider. Maybe its a box game but man its better than Skyrim.

You do have a point. When you play even the scariest game, if you have a character like Dante in Devil May Cry or War in Darksiders, you don't even get a chill or goosebumps. You feel like you'll pawn even the most scariest and grotesque monster you've ever seen... ain't that right?

Your wrong man skyrim rules but it gets boring after a month or two.
