Amnesia - yepAmnesia.
Also Silent Hill and call of Cthulhu have pretty good atmosphere.

This?
Minecraft??? I don't remember zombies in that game...
A wonderful game for scary moments was LIMBO. The atmosphere in the game was really dark and threatening, only made by music and ... yeah, darkness. And maybe because you only play a little kid. In these moments when you get hunted by the big spider I regularly pooped my pants
Lol on poop.
You do have a point. When you play even the scariest game, if you have a character like Dante in Devil May Cry or War in Darksiders, you don't even get a chill or goosebumps. You feel like you'll pawn even the most scariest and grotesque monster you've ever seen... ain't that right?
Definitely Amnesia. My Esc-key is pretty much ruined after playing that game.
Whats the point of playing a scary game like that if you dont have a powerful gun to bow the shit out of their anuses?
...because if you had a "powerful gun to bow the shit out of their anuses", it wouldn't be scary.
Minecraft no doubt its fcking scary when you don't have a torch in hand, specially when you're mining then suddenly a cavern appeared with lots of zombie/skeleton and before I forget that creepy jumping spider. Maybe its a box game but man its better than Skyrim.
TES IV - Oblivion
I played a game once in some forums years ago it was about:
LOL Seriously....
The thing that comes to my mind right now is "the scary maze game"
I played it for the first time when I had my headphones put on, and it was ... BAAAAAAAAA I F ING JUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
...I take it you haven't played many video games...
no actually I can play games like Silent Hill stone-faced.
no it's not the atmosphere.
it's the ugly faces that pop up when you sleep.
What is that??!?!?
