*A mage, emerging from the pit, runs back into the dark, subterrainean tunnel. Within minutes, hounds are heard, and soon are coming, pouring out of the Pit as they counter-swarm the enemy monstrosities, and some branch off to atttack the threat to the mages (who are on the steps of the fortress, with their shield gaurding them on the steps alone (the shield covers the steps )) The hounds of hell emerge from the darkness of the Pit!* > Now you shall feel true pain...

*The dragon soon wakes up and sees Devilak. Devilak takes notice and immediately starts. "Ah, I see you are awake." "Yeah, who are you?" The dragon said, shaking his head. "I am Devilak, king of darkness and dragon of the night. And you, were my host." "I... what?"
"Yes, your bloodline has been my carrier for quite some time now. I was banished a long time ago. You see, I'm a Void Lord, a lot larger than you, but thanks to you, I've regained my body." "Umm, ok." The dragon said, sitting up to face the larger black dragon.

Devilak sighed. "A Void Lord is a being with immense power that started in the Void, a shadow realm, if you will. Before recorded time really started, beings from your world managed to open a portal into ours and saw a new world. They set armies in to try to conquer the untamed land." Devilak's eyes glowed and magical particles appeared in front of him to in an attempt to show what happened. Having found a new threat, the beings of our world joined forces to force back the out-worlders.

Eventually, individuals rose to power to become Void Lords. The Void Lords contained massive amounts of power, and often demonstrated those powers to force back the enemy. But one day, a large group of magical beings came to force us out. They didn't have a name for themselves, so just came up with "The Order". We had many names for them. They started with the lesser Void Lords, taking out the weaker ones and we retaliated. More of them came to kill us, bolstering their forces.

We made our armies stronger and fought back. Somehow, they gained magical items that would cut through our defenses. Eventually, only a few survived. We had banded together, working our forces together to defeat them, but still they cut through." Devilak sighed again, the particles showing what happened. "Have you ever heard of Hellion?"

"That's him. The Order killed who they could and banished the rest. Hellion and myself included. We were banished into your world and sent into suitable hosts in your bloodlines. Only a few are left. But it seems only two have woken up, me, and hellion. I recently regained my body through the attempt of absorbing the magical energies of a necklace that had been gathered for me. Have you ever had any blackouts?"

You see, once a Void Lord wakes up, we watch to see what happens to our host. If the host is in serious danger, we'll take over and use our abilities. But we can also take control when we want.

The dragon walked through the portal and appeared in the portal room of the dragon city.*

Gah, finally got out of the fortress. lol I can't exactly say "I" anymore when talking about my main character (not Devilak). The character total was 3631. Just so you guys know, this is my perspective of their history. It might not be accurate as the history started 1000 years ago, before they really started recording history. So that means that they didn't have everything down as it happened.

*The red dragoness flew through the sly wreaking terror thorugh the town. The guards were no match for her. She hadn't reached the town at the base of the mountain yet, but decided to go for the closest ones first. She flew around the town's walls and then landed in the center and began shouting. "This land now belongs to the mighty Void Lord Devilak! Here his name and remember it! Devilak, the King of Shadows and Dragon of the Night! Your land is now his. If you rebel, you will serve him for eternity. This banner shall be a marker of his land. A symbol appeared before her. Do what the mages say, and you will not be harmed."*

*A necromancer appeared from a portal, a skull on his head, his horns curving back from behind the skull. He appraoched the dragon. "You may go, young dragon." The dragoness took off, jumping high into the air, wings downward, then spread them to head towards another town. The necromancer watched her take off and noted her direction. "Villagers, you now serve the mighty Devilak! You may be angry, You may be scared. But no harm will come of you. Only those who think to use your souls for their needs, must you fear. But we will protect you. We have magics to fight against those being who would harm you."
The necromancer pulled out a necklace. "Where this necklace, to show who is protecting you. This necklace will prevent your souls from being stolen, and can only be taken off by the wearer. There will be no need to push or fight to get one, there is plenty for everyone." The villagers looked at eachother and a couple walked forwards. "How do we know what you say is true?"*

*ultralisks smash into the barrier and bounce off, and they dumbly repeat it over and over again* :3

ken, my necromancer is nowhere ear the zerg battle. Don't you remember that?
I think he's talking to me, since he started with me. btw, when you switch characters and places, I suggest you put the new place or character in a different paragraph, so we know who's in what area and so you don't start mixing the two places.
*The necromancer stood there as the blade made a knick in his neck. He looked at the figure as he put his sword on his shoulder. Finally, the necromancer spoke. "I was sent here to gather the bodies of the villagers. This town wasn't supposed to burn yet, as I was suppossed to do the burning." The necromancer grimanced and the blight began to spread faster.*

He looked towards the town, and hit the ground with the bottom of his staff. Green sparks appeared to jump when he did so, and from the base of the staff, green energy began to quickly creep towards the town. "This town belongs to my Lord. And now too, do the villagers." The villagers stopped running around as the green energy enveloped them. Soon enough, their bodies began to melt and left skeletons in their place. "If you know what is good for you, you will leave us alone." The villagers began walking towards the necromancer as a portal appeared next to him.*

*Asherian looked at the strange creatures lunge at their foes bellow. Asherian galanced at Garane whos eyes lite up with power. in the sky a massive fire started towards the area of the battle. The Routine behind them was perpared for the attack. It hit the ground where the battle was and ripples across the ground shaking the earth below it. This was not their doing...."

uh... Storm? I am not sure what you just did. You had a blast of fire hit the already burning ground, and somehow caused an Earthquake? :? I am not quite sure what you meant, and as such, along with the necromancer/mage incident, can't really respond until I know what exactly is happening

Now if you don't mind, I have a spell to finish casting. *His bird like head stared down the unknown intruder, his eyes peircing (as any hawk's would ) while showing the slightest bit of aggitation. The other mages only glanced, but commence their heavy barrage of spells upon the enemy.

It was 3 pages ago, about mid-way up. I've boldened the part about them glancing, and commencing their casting

Wow, an earhtquake would knock you out? XD I guess that's all var has to do when facing you then. Besides, nothing woul've hit you, and you would've caught yourself when it happened.

appareantly, my fortress crumble at the slightest earthquake..... heh, even a poke could likely destroy it then. I'll need a sign. Warning: do not knock, or lean on walls. Only yelling is permitted to acquire the attention of a servant of gaurd to let you in.

hes a character way back when i had my note books which are filled with information.
Calis is the lord of hells gate. (he is a daemon lord and a chaos lord, only thing is he is Asherians Student at one point but he betrayed him and killed the order of the guardian and lead a splinter group and reaped hell on earth and destoried almost all life on earth. it was only thanks to the legion of light that the earth was saved and calis and his splinters banished into hells gate. some how it has been reopened.

Yeah, sure. The fields are burning anyway, scorching your zerg (well, they may have evolved on Char, but they never bathed in fire till they met the Firebats XD So, either way, they still burn >:3 (not to mention all those chemicals within them that like to go boom >:D))

Koicheen, enjoy your stay, but you won't find him here. He emerges at battles near him, or only when neccessary. This is a Fortress outpost, so, he wouldn't be residing here, or likely appear at this region

*The mage closest to the fallen mage, turns, and a vortex of air grows in his hands. Being a simple, yet effective spell, he was able to cast it quickly. Within moments of completing the spell, he sent it hurtling into the opponent, sending him flying out of the shield. Checking the status of the fallen mage, he found he was dead. The fallen mage was his friend, and the death angered him. His eyes lit aflame, and his hands burst into similar flames. Seeing the one who killed his friend, curled up by the wall he was thrust against (the impact led you to a slight shock, and kinda fell into a position that appears as a curl, especially when you try to get back up.) And sent the strongest, simplest spell he knew, against his newfound enemy. The spell? Fire. The fires of hatred rose around his enemy, appearing too engulf him in flames, as the hatred and rage boosted the power of the spell. The mage was angry, and he would have revenge.*
