These sites you suggested to keep are also a source for predators, paedophiles and other social deviants. If people were removed form these sites, they couldn't be preyed upon. Again, this would have a two-fold effect. It would free up space and the predators/prey would use the internet a lot less.

I agree with ZypherXII, it is not up to an individual to decide which sites go. WC3 haters would want this site gone saying that it has too many users, too much space, etc.

Kaitech, I had to use an internet cafe for quite a while because I didn't have the internet at my house. It was really annoying, a bit expensive, etc. but I adapted. I wouldn't want to go back to it though. If I had to go back, I would though.

    Age =! maturity.

I was on the web when I was 11, and I was mistaken for a 16 year old more than once.

Maybe so for you, but the vast majority of 13 year olds think they've got social skills that they don't, and end up pissing everyone else off. That and pre-pubescent voices on mics. Those are evil.

Very evil. But hey, Camels_Hump is 14 or 15 last I checked, and he was a mod at 13, and hell, most of the time he seems more mature than me.

    Age =! Maturity for sure.

It's impossible to shut all those sites down. Impossible. Completely.

not really the CRIA just need to type "T****nt site List" and it comes up with decent ones, and then they just send a email saying if you don't remove the files they will shut them down.

This thread is basically fail. A lot of you need to get your facts straight before posting in here as if your words are somehow factual. (for the record, I'm NOT claiming to know the answers either, but I do know that there have been a lot of false or ignorant statements about technology and the state of the internet here)

As for the other offtopic posts...what "religion" predicts the world will end in 2011? AFAIK, the Mayan calendar predicts a cataclysmic event around the end of 2012, but what else is there to corroborate such assertions?

Yeah this is getting really off topic didn't really bother to post.

Some of the mods who were off topic should of known, but owell not pointing fingers, may someone close this before something else starts?

Global Warming wont cause an ice age artard, since Global Warming is completely fictional.

I laughed when I read this. When you bash someone(s) please be sure not to make errors like "back this up with prove of cause just look". It just doesn't make you look any older or more mature than the people you are bashing. By the way, aren't you 16? What category are you in?

"fight of a silly address code" what does this mean?

SUN: The Sun’s magnetic field is over 230 percent stronger now than it was at the beginning of the 1900s, and its overall energetic activity has sizably increased, creating a frenzy of activity that continues to embarrass NASA’s official predictions.

VENUS: Venus is now glowing in the dark, as is Jupiter’s moon Io.

EARTH: In the last 30 years, Earth’s icecaps have thinned out by as much as 40 percent. Quite inexplicably, just since 1997 the structure of the Earth has shifted from being slightly more egg-shaped, or elongated at the poles, to more pumpkin-shaped, or flattened at the poles. No one at NASA has even bothered to try to explain this yet. Link to full article at NASA.

MARS: The icecaps of Mars noticeably melted just within one year, causing 50-percent changes in surface features. Atmospheric density had risen by 200 percent above previous observations as of 1997.

JUPITER: Jupiter has become so highly energized that it is now surrounded by a visibly glowing donut tube of energy in the path of the moon Io. The size of Jupiter’s magnetic field has more than doubled since 1992.

SATURN: Saturn’s polar regions have been noticeably brightening, and its magnetic field strength increasing.

URANUS: According to NASA’s Voyager II space probe, Uranus and Neptune both appear to have had recent magnetic pole shifts – 60 degrees for Uranus and 50 for Neptune.

NEPTUNE: Neptune has become 40 percent brighter in infrared since 1996, and is fully 100-percent brighter in certain areas. Also, Neptune’s moon Triton has had a “very large percentage increase” in atmospheric pressure and temperature, comparable to a 22-degree Fahrenheit increase on Earth.

PLUTO: As of September 2002, Pluto has experienced a 300-percent increase in its atmospheric pressure in the last 14 years, while also becoming noticeably darker in color.

Our solar system has an ongoing surge of energy within it. There is nothing unnatrual about our global warming. It is not caused by the work of man. It has been forseen as a process of transitioning from one world (the age of Piscies) to the new world (age of Aquarius) throughout history. All ancient cultures recall the "death" and "birth" of the world, atleast 4 times, if not more. It's a cycle of the Sun. And when the Sun starts acting up and adjusting it's magnetic field, so, too does the Earth change it's magnetic field to keep the relationship it has with the Sun. When this polar-shift, as it is called, happens, which it is currently happening but takes a few hundred years to complete, the Earth loses some of it's magnetic field. It's a magnetic field in transition, you cannot expect it to have the same strength. So this automaticallt decreases our "defense" from the Sun's radiating waves that heat our planet.
However, the Earth cannot trap in heat. Along with the seasons, the side furthest from the Sun is always being equalized by the lack of the Sun's radiation. The Earth does not radiate heat except from that which comes from the Sun. Had we no Sun, though the Earth's core is hot, it would have become similar to the moon long ago.
It is not by the work of man that is causing global warming, although it is helping to increase helthier living on a personal and societal level.

I can't close it.. I'm not a moderator like you

So you mean summer is going to be like it was in Scarborough again? Damnit! All summer it was like a bloody rainforest, raining and hot.

Did you even read the post?

He's saying that because of this, the Earth will be unable to trap as much heat, and so it will become cooler, possibly even drastically dropping in temperature.

To drop it down to anyman's level: EARTH GON GET COLD.

polar shift is equivilant to the Earth titling a certain degree on it's axis. This means where it was hot/warm will be cold/cool and vice-versa... but not everywhere.

Many cataclysmic events will happen; tsunamis, earthquakes, flooding, volcanic eruptions, etc. These are all due to gravity and our magnetic field being manipulated by, mainly the Sun and Moon, but all other cosmic bodies in our solar-system as well.

There is a tug-of-war between two celestial bodies, and there is no such thing as a circular orbit. Orbits are elongated like an egg and this helps establish a balance of boundaries. That means, the Earth can only get so far away and so close to the Sun, but no further and no closer.
With our decrease in magnetic field due to the Sun, the Moon's mass is helping to literally pull apart and mash together tectonic plates. This creates prime conditions for the natural disasters. The heat allows for greater hurricanes, in power, size and life-span. The dry condition allows for extreme winds.

Everything is normal and the way it should be. Balance/moderation is a law of the universe.

And i know he is not a moderator, i was being sarcastic, but he sure acts like one!

    :p
