Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.

Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

First, this file must be placed in campaign folder
Then, you must create your characters in prologue
Finally, i advice you should use 1.24e(b) to play this campaign
Hopefully, it may help you something

the file was in correct folder but I couldn't get the prologue or any chapter to load.
However, I just patched it to 1.24 and it works now. So I guess that's the problem. It isn't compatible with 1.21.

Hey everyone, here's the newest version of the campaign. It's just a minor version I worked quite a long time. Now the major bugs are fixed and I can focus 100% to chapter 6. This version only contains bug fixes, 6 new Galeoth abilities and remade Combat Kings.

A dragon boss ??? I just play the campaign to chap 7 in previous version, so I dont know what a dragon boss is. sound really exciting. I'm waiting for that, Aero. Keep up the good work, man :-bd

Chapter 6 will have it's first "Dragon Battle" and "Dragon Music"! But the real dragon fights starts from chapter 9 where you fight against REALLY powerful dragons.

hey there i would like to suggest a nice system> "Advanced Abillity Customization"
Basicly take an ability that does 10dmg has 3sec cooldown and 300.range and when upgraded it does 15dmg has 2.8sec cooldown and 400.range, the player chooses each new lvl what specific part of the abil to upgrade be it dmg, lower cooldown or range.?

Im going to use this system for a later version of my incomplete map,if any1 whants it just ask

My save file in version 1.4b, does it work in 1.4c?
The skill Chill Of The Frost Master has same information with Frozen Fang :( and with 6 addition spells, it seems to be difficult to pick skill for Galeoth from now, they are pretty good

Hm, when you pick spells for galeoth then at one point you can choose between: Glacial Ball, Chill of the Frost Master and Frozen Fang.

However the Description for Chill of the Frost Master and Frozen Fang is exactly the same. So you cant really make a difference between those spells.

On a sidenote... you have some weapons and abilities in this game which have % chance to trigger when the hero attacks. Such spells can be abused by just spamming hold, triggering en mass then. You should change them in a way that the extradamage triggers after the attackanimation is completely finished and not when attacking (no idea of mapmaking so i cant tell how to change it exactly).

Also i couldnt select the Special weapon or the luck set for galeoth.

oh shit! When i buy combat king for Frodom in chapter 1, i click exit and occur black screen, still moving but i can't see anything. also happen in honor shop.
If someone faces this too, you can solve it by typing R Z E buttons to dig or -reset, it will become normally

Yea, but combat kings aren't loaded & saved in that file.
The truth is i can't load my save file
error code: There was an error trying to load the selected map
the map is unavailable or corrupted

It can be only loaded if i place 1.4b in campaign folder, but can't be used in 1.4c
I know the bugs in spell and combat kings, so i don't buy any combat kings and spell is still in my box. i save before coming in chapter 3.
It is so disappointed that i lose my save and play from the beginning

nvm the previous post.


here is my new issue: I use the arrows to move the camera around. but the multiboard interferes with that so when I press left or right the camera moves just a little bit and stops.
@Aeroblyctos: I know you are aware of this. I read in one of the post, you said "Now it should not stop your camera moving when you are in the "camera mode"". how do I go to camera mode? Do you mean to lock the camera to the hero? I tried that but in that mode the camera circles around, not moving left or right.

it's just annoying >.< plz do something.

Played chapter 5 and the game fataled once I used the prism ability. I reloaded and was only able to make it to John's second transformation. He then turned invulnerable and my food was reduced to zero. He just kept turning in circles acting like he was casting some type of spell, the heroes were standing up in a corner the whole time and yet nothing was happening. What the hell? I waited for 10 minutes and he was still invulnerable. I don't get this. Also when I started the map, everything was very dark, you could barely see a thing. It wasn't until I talked to the guy at the south western farm about the pumpkin quest that the map visibility went back to normal. Also are spells supposed to save for each chapter? Because Phodom's didn't. Is this not fixed yet? Also I'm thinking the wondrous crate puzzle is bugged. When I activated a source, and then went to that source, it said one of the numbers could be: 0 , and not only that but it kept spamming the message on the screen.

To dan9khoa, you should type -reset to reset camera mode, for more looking in the command mode.
To Forsaken Ranger, now i don't play chapter 5 in 1.4c, so with your trouble it's possible to avoid John's skill. "-reset" may be useful if you can't see anything

Yes, this skill is away too strong... it did the same here. In which difficulty are you playing ?

And you can change multiboard pages with arrow keys.

EDIT : I was playing in extreme , btw. It's killing even on easy, lol

You can't load the game in chapter 3. It crashes always in 1.4, 1.4a and 1.4b. Do you have a save from any other chapter?

Or you can start chapter 3 from beginning in the newest version, complete that chapter and go to chapter 4. Then give up, and everything should work again. There are many ways to around this bug.

- Yea that ability sucks and not made by me. Made in China.
- Actually that's not bug it's badly presented spell. It can be stopped by avoiding the spell five times.
- They are fixed once you have started a new game or used give up.

@mainblack: yes, I know how to reset camera. but that's not the problem. the problem is that it is annoying to move the camera using arrows :(

I never move the camera with arrow keys that's why I didn't remember to fix the bug. I always use the mini-map.

Yeah, but you can start a new chapter and have your saved files from last chapter. That Blizzard made save/load doesn't work between different versions, so always the same version with that.

Okay, so... How does it bug?

I created random potions from all flowers in chapter 1 but i still had level 0, i think that is the problem.?

For the chapter 1 elite, I suggest you to add floating text or something that tells you go away from him! or something that warn you he is casting it. I don´t think you should remove it, i think every boss should have one big killing spell and every time he is about to cast it text will appear to go hide.

combat king level reaches max at 10, but we can still buy wastefully if someone doesn't that. i think you should add information among that.

In the second missions where you are introduced to Fraz, after completing the "Kill the Boar Leader and bring his head to the barbarians," I decided to explore for a bit, do some digging and stuff.

I then went to the bridge, and attempted to cross it. I was prompted with a blank option screen with the choices, "Yes, Please" and "No, Thank You."

I clicked Yes, Please, and my game froze. So much for that wonderful hour of wasted gameplay. :\

Here is a bug I just found in chapter 5. when I did the steal on the bear mini-boss, your anti-cheat system kicked in and failed the mission. I have never used cheats in this campaign and was surprised that it would all of a sudden appear for that. I reloaded and did it again and it didn't do it that time....weird. It didn't happen when I stole from other bosses. I also have 2 questions. What is the deal with the guy that appears in the lower left corner of the mysterious forest? Also, I am not getting the idea of the puzzle. Are you supposed to be given the numbers when you go near the source that you activate? Cuz when I do that, it repeatedly spams the message: One of the numbers could be 0. I don't get it, I was led to believe by the info that you were supposed to be given 4 numbers, 3 of which had to be put in the correct sequence. Has anyone solved this?

About the code puzzle, it's seem to be not done. The number was given is not enough (almost give number 0 only ). Moreover, i don't have reward after completing each levels as it mentions.
Finally, how to use crate of wonder ?( reward of code puzzle)

What is the deal with the guy that appears in the lower left corner of the mysterious forest?

It's a mysterious character for now, but will be seen later. He's pretty major character at the end chapters.

Also, I am not getting the idea of the puzzle. Are you supposed to be given the numbers when you go near the source that you activate? Cuz when I do that, it repeatedly spams the message: One of the numbers could be 0. I don't get it, I was led to believe by the info that you were supposed to be given 4 numbers, 3 of which had to be put in the correct sequence. Has anyone solved this?

The puzzle sucks, I'll simply remove those sources and try something else.

I forgot to mention before, but I had a couple of minor suggestions. I don't know if you were already planning this, but I just wanted to suggest that the value of honor and boss points for elite and epic bosses be different dependent on chapter. Like for example maybe chapter 4 and chapter 5's bosses could give 4 points each, chapter 6 could be like 5 or whatever. I guess I'm just thinking that having 3 honor points and 3 boss points especially for later chapters really becomes a drop in the bucket for the difficulty of the bosses. Also to factor it in a different sense, maybe the tougher the bosses, the more widely known and feared they are by citizens, therefore, the heroes would gain more fame from killing them. I also wanted to suggest that maybe honor points be given according to certain deeds done. For example, in chapter 4 when you have the choice to give the sword back to the merchant or keep it, maybe you could get an honor point for having had the integrity to give it back. Same thing goes for chapter 5 if you choose to not believe John when it comes to the Kaza's. Anyway these were just suggestions, see what you think.

- About giving more than 3 Honor or Boss Points from Elite or Epic Bosses doesn't warm me up. You would gain too many points and then you would probably gain too many combat kings.
- I agree that at the moment Boss and Honor points are gained too "linear", meaning you'll always get that 3x Honor & Combat Kings.
- I even had an idea to make a Reputation System, but nah. Let's stick with these points for now.
- So let's take an example, if you decide to not to kill Kazas, what will you get: A boss point or a Honor point?

And to Luffy: I think those models are excellent, but doesn't fit to that temple. I think they are a bit too fast. I'm searching something silent and mystical. Here's what I used before, I probably will use it in the future. However, I'm searching for other this type of song for other area. And if I found better than this song I'll remove this one.

So you can complete this bugging puzzle? It's pretty mysterious item it can heal and restore mana. It can give lives, boss points, honor points and other poweful things. I don't remember what I actually put to that item.

Yeah! it seem to be like i'm a cheater :D, but it's done. However, i don't know how to use this "Crate of wonder" - legendary item, right? I can't click on it and when i carry it or put in boxes, nothing happened. Perhaps, you should check it again for the new version

I think the name of the Kazas is fine. However, if you decide to come up with something else you could always kinda throw it out there to see what people think I guess. As far as not killing them, I would say it should merit an honor point because you were choosing to believe truth and spare lives which needless to say is "honorable". If you do decide to kill them, maybe that could yield a boss point upon the leader's death. As far as the honor points and boss points in general, the way I figure, you're going to get a lot of points anyway from doing "give up" constantly. I guess this would just be a slightly quicker way, needing not as much "give ups". But if you aren't comfortable with that, that is also understandable. Another idea I had was either making more items available to purchase at the honor shop or even incorporating item set pieces into the honor shops. You could have different costs of course depending on the item. Truthfully, I always have more honor points left over than boss points because the only thing I buy from the honor shop is the food sack. For me at least, either having more items or set pieces would utilize the honor system for more than just buying that item or lives. We can keep discussing this, and perhaps we will come up with more ideas or alterations.
