Texture Shading

Hey; I was only wondering, is it possible to turn off the shading that an object texture gains? Just so everyone is on the same page; I mean how rotation of a doodad affects it's texture; a part of it darkens; whereas the other parts are lighter. I want too remove that as I am making a building doodad for doodad; so it makes things very unrealistic. So in the end; is it possible to turn off such a thing and if so, how?

If you want to unshade some model the best solution is using Magos Model Editor. You should download it, open your model and then
go in: Windows --> Material Manager --> select one of the materials of the model --> select one of the material layers --> activate "Unshaded" option. Then you do the same thing and unshade every layer of every material. It should work.

The global lighting is governed by the day/night model lights. One could modify that model, import it and change to it using triggers if a global change in lighting is required.

Be aware that no matter what you do, shading in Warcraft III will still look bad because it has no HDR support and is not gamma corrected.
