How do I do this? If I load the individual map either separate from the campaign editor or from inside it, any campaign data doesn't show up when I test the map.
Did you use game cache? Without it nothing will be saved. You should save hero from campaing into cache and replace it with defoult. Defould hero at episode 2 shall have all items that he needs to end episode, and half max experience which he can gain at episode 1. Campaing data not saves at all without cache. Even if you play blizzard campaing, and start another one data is lost.
No, I mean I can't access the campaign specified object data when I test a map individually. If I place an object defined in the campaign editor in the map, it doesn't load when I test it from the editor.
With campaigns, you can't just hit test button and you are already playing the map with all stuff. You need to run warcraft separately. Unless you use some map specific data as placeholders, if frequent testing is needed.
i think i have the same problem but i cant figure out what it is. i made a custom unit in the campaign editor but i cant use it in game. any ideas how to fix it?
