Terrain Height Change?

I wonder if it is possible to change the height of terrain in a certain region?

For example:
attachment.php

The height of the terrain marked in blue is ~1200.
The height of terrain marked in red is ~1800.
I want to change the height of the terrain in this region, marked in yellow, to ~1200.

Any suggestions? Please, I really, really, really need this to work...

Terrain deformations can change the height of terrain. However care must be taken as the resulting deformation is not deterministic and varies with build and configuration of WC3. In a multiplayer map it can lead to an out of sync error if you try and query the Z height at the point of a deformation. Also visually it may look different at different settings due to how deformations are generated.
