🏆 HD Level Design Contest #1 is OPEN! Contestants must create a maze with at least one entry point, and at least one exit point. The map should be made in HD mode, and should not be openable in SD. Only custom models from Hive's HD model and texture sections are allowed. The only exceptions are DNC models and omnilights. This is mainly a visual and design oriented contest, not technical. Strife Reborn is a remake of the original Strife in the Plaguelands, which was created by 2happy4.
The mail goal of this remake is to improve the quality of the map by increasing its speed, decreasing loading time, and decreasing the maps filesize.
It uses (with permission) the original Strife in the Plaguelands terrain, object data, and triggers.
The original Strife in the Plaugelands is a spawn-based Strategy map, based in the World of Warcraft WotLK timeline, although it features slightly altered lore.
1.0B Changelog:
- Fixed an error where there would be a massive wall-of-text during the beginning of the map (thanks, PunWisp!).
1.0A Changelog:
- Fixed some pathing.
- Removed over four-thousand doodads from the original version.
Both 1.0A and 1.0B are 1.24 compatible.
