Ancient yes but I like most of ancient games still. Today games have only good graphic and back then they were special somehow.

And yea I am casual player that couldn't care less about losing.

ancient games is what is now the best games.. all other games.. sequels.. have.. lost effort, lost the charm..

take Red Alert 3 for an example... it is crap.. sure.. playable.. but crap :/

or.. War3 and dreaded WoW .. completely fucked up..

no.. game industry needs to go back to "ancient" game design/work >:/

When they do that critics kill them. Armies of exigo is similar to sc as far as gameplay goes and was killed because of that.

..i played that game.. and IMO is hard on the eyes.. that camera never stays still and textures are too sharp..

although it has a pretty cool gameplay

speakin' of Armies of Exigo.. veljo, that fallen voidwalker thingie has quite a few archon-like effects Oo

Really? He can freeze, shape-shift, create anti-magic area, use dark energy to bombard, open portals...and there is also that energetic shield that returns damage back at enemies around him (lost many units not knowing this...)

...Oh wait you mean the portrait yea that is similar kinda.

I was speaking of his energy orbiting around like archon's orbiters. (noticable even more in the void walker-like hero in one custom map)

but.. the game kills because units don't have enough quotes in their soundfiles =__=
it just hurts ears with monotony

I don't pay attention to sounds. I figured they have just 7 quotes usually. But I still like lizard men quotes.

That energy orbiting is very dangerous. Archon just looks cool like that but these guys hurt with it.

not really.. take dark archon Ulrezaj, who found out a way to sustain himself.

and.. Archons don't deplete that fast..

I was exaggerating. Tho they should have ability like immolation or something.

well giving the swirling, burning effigy of an Archon a burn-aura would make it imbalanced

but no matter how cool that might be to me, it would require other units to be imba too, which would balance it again.

Maaybe after some time an altered melee with such units would be playable. the game's still young :3

You know I think I don't actually use archons much in sc. I kinda prefer the might of carriers and scouts.

And we are going to make sc1 remake

Well no LAN means not with Garena like I do with Sc1. Oh garena is legal and supports Hive.

Ive heard that "sc2 bnet sux" and that it could be added easily in garena.

Garena uses LAN servers. But is it better then Bnet I don't know but I like that dota is separated from melee and custom maps.

that is that SC II arcade spaceship shooter game that was done by the modders that Blizzard hired even before beta seen on youtube blizzard presentation. they implemented something fanmade into a campaign

I dislike it. It is not what it should be. not too many things you can do. They got rid of chat channels which sucks.

SC2 customs games are shit atm. No epicness like solar conquest yet.... yeah its best wc3 space strategy map i know of (not cuz i map it but cuz I haven't played better)

TKF you just have to look at Social Groups when their name become brighter.

Well to early for real maps anyway right? Most wc3 maps are made way later.

And i duno if custom games are abled? (what does abled mean?)
