StarCraft And StarCraft II

It's just a machine. It only looks humanoid from the chest up. And it's made of metal.

It returns no emotions or feelings.

I have to say though, the adjutants look awesome. But a Murloc Adjutant is even cooler! (I need to recreate mine :c)

My god... seriously, imagine some nerd technofiliac. The horrors he could has done with a poor adjutant

But I simply love adjutants, they are cool. One of the best things in StarCraft if you ask me =P
Though adjutants in SCI scared me...

Well, not many people would be able to get their hands on one. They are pretty important military hardware afterall. They tend to keep a tight grip on those things. :/ Only one (Monica 2342) was abandoned intact on Tarsonis when the Directorate fled in quite a hurry from invading rebel forces.

And yes, there have been male Adjutants. They are just less common. Never shown though :/

Well nothing about that on wiki but I guess that would be valid for Military Adjutants. Then again games don't really show us what civilians have. Its not that's strange that outdated equipment gets its way to public. But still this was mostly joking about ugh...the special adjutants...

... uh that doesn't make it more then AI. Its just specialized AI. I mean AI is artificial intelligence so that would well roughly said be a thinking computer which means it can interact and since it is computer it can already access the database.

Actually they are like Command Droids from Star Wars universes. All of them contain some data for the military operation they're currently on, plus store all of the data from previous battles to compare the overall data.
Other adjutants are not useful since they kinda like contain the tactical information that is kinda like useless now when you wrecked enemy command center and wiped all forces so enemy lost the battle already... the one on Tarsonis didn't contain any immportant military information, it just contained record of conversation... so yes, Adjutant is a military cybernetic Secretary/Advisor.

Yeah, both smart and awesome. (Word: Or androids? Maybe?)
Old adjutants looks and sounds like screwed and it is same effect to smart computers which are not working correctly. I mean Adjutant 23-46 from "The Great Train Robbery" and rest of the line of Matt Horner missions.
A thing more: The MULE's portrait are similar to the HAL 3000

Hmmm... that's an easy one.
I mean, real computers solve equations that would kill us if we'd try to solve these.
Plus it's just an adapted "|brain". I mean, it can't really think or have emotions or anything, so it's not a living thing. Just a tinny portable super computer with gravity manipulator and warp-in module.

And all the Protoss tech is based on Psionics, as I recall, including their shields and weapons.

If they can just store protoss mind, I wonder why can't protoss attach the wounded to some plasma shooting wheelchair (Dragoons/Immortals), instead of transporting his mind into a crystal and having more mobile fighting unit.
Dunno, I mean probes may be like real smart, but except for pylo the probe, I'm sure no other probe has emotions... I mean even if Protoss can make their crystals behave like living stuff, I doubt that an emotional probe could be more useful that loyal robotic servant...

Uh come on. If you can put all memories and knowledge into a single crystal, then attach it to probe, you'll get a probe with all the knowledge and memories of some protoss.
Of course, I can imagine what the combination of probe warp-in processor and master high templar's mind can bring to :3
