I was wondering if there was any way to make the Spell "Cloud" into a non-channeling ability to where you cast it once and your unit may still move around freely without canceling out the spell it's self. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

use a dummy unit, make a trigger that, when your unit casts cloud, it will spawn a dummy unit and have it cast and channel the cloud ability. This way, your unit will be able to move freely since it is the dummy unit that is channeling.
