What is it for? Does it work on remedy? Does it go to your pets? Many of the druid gear have Spell haste even though druids dont cast anything besides remedy (that I am not even sure if its a casting) and Life infusion.

the spellhaste will reduce the time you channel remedy while you still heal for the same amount giving you more heal per second. also maybe in the future druid will get some other channeled abilitys.

Spellhaste also affects Recovery which is quite nice, less time not healing hp, and yeah if Druids get a spammable channel dps spell in the future the spellhaste will be real nice. Also even though they pretty much only use Remedy its the core skill for the class so the better you can make your Remedy effectively makes you a better Druid

the stats of your pets are generaly determined by your sum of attributes (str+agi+int). for some pets the spellpower is a fraction of your personal spellpower (skeleton mage)

Druid: Remedy + Recovery
Bishop: Heal/Flash of Light + Soul Strike
Sorcerer: Fireball/Water Globes + Lightning Strike
Necromancer: Fireball + Detonating Bones
Crusader: Shield Throw + Crucify
Psion: Twisting Metal + Liquified Arms + Enslave + Psionic Blade spell if you so choose.

Seems to me like each caster class 'only' casts two spells. Most peoples Sorcerers only cast one spell even. If anything, haste benefits Druid THE MOST because it has zero damage mitigation spells like Bishop, so a druid has to actively heal any group members that take damage from enemy AOE spells. A Bishop through rotating mends and divine protections can heal the entire group without needing to use its actual casting skills. A druid needs to be able to rotate remedies through the party at a quick pace, so the faster that the druid can get multiple remedy ticks off, the better it is for healing a group by itself.

Ohhh...I see it now. Since Druid damage comes from pets having a faster healing is great. Thank you box for the teaching.

Edit: Does spell haste have a cap?

Well every 100 haste causes a spells casting time to halve. So if a spell at 0 haste takes 2 seconds to cast, then 100 haste would cause it to be cast in 1 second, and 200 haste would cause it to be cast in half a second. I believe Zwieb said that spells are capped at half a second casting time. So theres no limit on haste, but in theory you end up with diminishing returns as your haste becomes higher.
