So, what about models ?

What I think is someone needs to make an M3 exporter for Milkshape even if it is not the best program for SC2 models.

how many times do I have to say it? Milkshape does not have what it takes to make an SC2 model, the least you could do is the mesh, but sc2 animation standards aren't possible in it.

Anyways, to answer your question: currently the .m3 format is being reverse engineered, so we most likely know few things about it. An importing script already exists for 3dsmax(you may find it in the max tools thread within modeling & animation). I doubt anyone will make an exporter script until blizzard releases the 'Star Tools'.

By the way, Galaxy Editor's previewer allows you to extract the models without an mpq editor, so you could use it to get files.
