Skill/Hero Ideas **UPDATED WITH MORE INFORMAION**

- I'm am currently making a game like http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...nloads&order=DESC&search=Survival&d=list&r=20 And i was wondering if anyone had some ideas for heroes, or like professions. Each hero will have 4 ability's and each ability has 10 levels. The Professions can have as many levels but the highest they will go will be around 15. They need enough spells to fill up a spell book or get close to.

Heroes Layouts

In my game you and up to 10 players travel to other planets and rid them of the alien scum.
So you could use like marine heroes, to a bad alien that turned good. All Hero ability's need to have 10 levels.


Name - (Heroes name)
Model - (Suggestion Hero Model)
Description - (Short hero description)

Ability #1 - An ability with a description and level information.
Ability #2 - An ability with a description and level information.
Ability #3 - An ability with a description and level information.
Ability #4 - An ability with a description and level information.

Profession's Layouts


Some of the ability can be upgradable.

Description - (Short description of what the profession with be about)

How about you make the survival with proper bosses, which have got effort put into 'em, if I remember correctly the bossfights in that game were simply potion chugging and the traditional "Avoid this spell" You can find good ideas from here

For skills and such you could make the marines based on Warcraft races, so e.g. Tauren would be able to get a Passive Toughening skill or smthing like that and some of his skills might rely on brute force while others on Mother Nature.

One of the Professions might be Engineer, or weapons specialist, who would upgrade the weapons with minerals or stuff like that found by miners or just lying around.

proffestion ideas :
try Enchanting (let's say there is a shop that sells magical dusts, and with those dusts (let's say a sword is enchanted with a dust(example arcane dust) it will be a arcane sword), it would be cool). Enchanting is like a buff that lasts forever on a weapon.

heroes? hmm i need the theme of the map so that i could concept some heroes :O.

How about a profession that can advance to other one's?

Like, martial artist. At start you could go until lv 8-9.

At level 10, you choose, if it will follow the way of the warrior and become a very very powerfull fighter, or he will become a martial master( teacher), so he still a damn fighter, but will be able to give some helping aura like, or even triggers a puppil trainning system, where every unit that it's picked from him to become training, will start to "shadow fighting" it is, just training while the martial master watches, all this with time will give bonuses to the puppils, and bonus EXP to the teacher also.

Other idea is about a class that starts as aprendice, when it finishes it's trials will become a "fanatic" like, or everything like that, so he can only wander at day or night,or will be constantly damage, if stay out of the shadows, but in the other hand, it will excels at night/day.
