What kind of information would you want to see in the descriptions of structures?

So I have a unit production building that I need to put a tooltip description for... but I'm stuck on what kind of information I should put. I thought about putting names of the units it trains + unit-type and abilities. However, after 3 or 4 units, it becomes a wall of text. I would love suggestions on what kind of information I should leave out or keep in.

Here are examples that I have in my project so far:
  • Build Structure Description

  • Unit Ability Description
    2.png
  • Tower Unit Passive Ability Description

Hm, what is the tooltip for?

I mean the map itself, is it a melee map or what?

Just need to ask first before I might be able to provide a suggestions or idea.

Hm... Then how about basic summary about like what it does, attack fast or slow, strong or weak, and etc, like.

Guard Tower
"Primary defensive tower, low damage but fast, has chance of dealing double damage"

Cannon Tower
"Secondary defensive tower, deals heavy splash damage but slow, has low chance of stunning units."

Barracks
"Primary training structure, trains Footman, Knights and Rifleman"

Basically, just try to be simple when doing tooltips, so it could be easily understood by players.

Thanks :) thats what a lot of people are saying... no need to go over the top with it.

I'd say they're good, especially the ability and the passive spell.

But can you tone down the colors of tooltip1 a bit? It's like looking at a rainbow.

Thanks! I'm actually considering removing the "Upgrades to:" portion.
