Very impressive stuff. I've always loved good (read: Samwise Didier's) concept art being turned into great Wc3 Models, and this is an excellent example of that. Nice in-game textures.

Thumbs up.

thanks ~ how is going on with ur custom race creation ? how many models have ur team done by now ? :ogre_haosis:
the proxy's raptor rider make me feel impressive .

Well... I like the style of the model... Looks awesomly good! Keep up with this style is different and nice! 5/5

the wrap work here is very good, but you have some colour scheme conflicts.

the blood-elven bronze armor don't fit with the gold details of the other one. i know you had to mash up both to give it the details you wanted, but in the future avoid using textures that conflict (choose whether gold or whether bronze, or a pattern in which they will occur that won't look accidental like in this model)
the undead textured hammer could fit the bronze, but it doesn't fit the gold.

and also, you don't need to have such high-res texture details, try to keep the whole model in the same resolution... (high res golden lion texture in the hammer and in the shoulder, next to low-res ones)

This. But considering he most likely wanted this to be done using in-game textures only to reduce filesize, I think this is probably the best he could do under that circumstance. The model looks wicked awesome overall and I'll definitely be using this for my Warcraft 3 machinima over the built-in one.

Thing you should fix:
You forgot to add the hero glow to the hammer.
The arms intersect horribly with the shoulder pads in most animations, this will require some animating that might be difficult.
Add in some pupils, the paladin and Arthas's textures have some, it will make his eyes look less possessed mad man and more human.
The cloak starts out suddenly from the middle of his back, that looks weird.
He has iron pants, that must be hard to move in, but they do offer awesome protection for his junk.
Make the wings on his helm better - more detailed.
The lower mesh of the fore arm intersects with the upper mesh - it is visible even in the screen shot of the model - leave a little bit more distance between the two meshes.
The small parts of the cloak are connected to the bone of the arm - that is very weird.
Add some sort of trim at the end of the cloak and maybe to its sides, it will make it look better.
I suggest using the wings of the blood elf glue-screen texture for the wings on the shoulder.
Make the book a bit smaller.

Exactly my opinion, therefore just 4/5 :)

I strongly agree with WhiteDeath on all these points, the texture wrapping is very good (except for those little high res / low res problems) but there are huge clipping problems.

- For the right forearm clash, just invert the two triangles of the armor part and it should work.
- You really have to fix the clashes with the right pauldron, this will require some work on anims, and you will probably have to create a new bone dedicated to the pauldron for that to work.
- The texture on his legs suggests a "knee" plate, but it is definitely not placed on his knees, it's way too high. Look at victory anim when his legs are bent, you will see what i mean.

For sure this will be a great model once you've polished it!

I reckon they're alright I mean Uther was a very hardened and determinded guy so I think the almost glaring look suits him quite well. That's just my opinion though.

so thats it foot man what do you think are these models good for your campaigns ? ^^
