Should i (we) buy a Playstation 3?

There is a certain charm about retro games, but an Atari 2600 would be nothing but a novelty for the sake of it. I doubt I could sit down and play it for very long and have as much fun as I would with a recent console.

Well you can mod your xbox 360, so you pay like idk 250 for it or w.e and then just dled any games you want. Thats what I do. But I think ps3 has some better stuff, for instance, I love playing online games but xbox 360 makes you pay monthly ps3 doesnt.

Also ps3 has more extra releases for games.
I personally am going to buy a ps3 for myself again (had one sold it, shouldnt have)

I recomended you check which system has the games you like. And if you choose a 360 get a modded one or mod it yourself, you will save yourself alot of money. Oh and dont waste any cash on fable 2, its trash. I love fable 1 but fable 2 wasnt even close to as good as the original.

Anyways, I did play the first Fable a LOT. With this in mind, I still think Fable 2 was a great game. I could hardly care less about "Broken promises and too much hype and Peter molyneux promised this and blah blah", just enjoy the game for what it is you twats.

But to be fair, Fable 2 didn't have the same impact as Fable did. But that's expected in a sequel, it's very rare that a sequel has a greater impact than the original title, it's usually just refined. (With some exceptions of some titles that practically change the game completely and with greater effect)

I'm cool with that though.

but if you have any uk onnections you maybe should get 1 there
im irish and i go across the border to buy anything expensive, its about 20 percent cheaper
and if its an xbox vs playstation thing, go for ps3 because its got more value for money
the games arent great at the moment, but are set to get a hell of a lot better ths year
ps3 is more powerful and can do things way better than xbox
unfortunately, it hikes up the price...
but remember, sony make a loss with every ps3 they sell, so its definitely more than worth the price

Dude, Wii is the ONLY current console that has NOT lowered in price since it's release (except for in those days where it is like a sale, and you get it for 230 euros).
I know it sucks in Graphics, some GamePlay, and there are no good games on it, but Nintendo manages to achieve Originality, shitloads of sold consoles, and keep their prices teh same.

Now, i can SOOO imagine that everybody is like "WII SUCKS" and such, and i know it does, so im not telling you to get a wii, im telling you Nintendo does good opposite to Sony and Microsoft.

So, XBOX, PS, or PC, i would say PC, XBOX and PS get old and are not updatable (hardware), while you can change your Graphics Card if you have a desktop (but if you just buy a good PC you wont need to change anything soon).

My vote: No, buy a proper Gaming PC.
