Hi guys, I want to record some videos for my map but I cannot find a program to record the screen without causing lag, or recording the image in slow fps, or even screw the colors. Or some of the programs even if they do not have one of the problem from above they record, but when I play it warcraft apears as a little window in the top left corner :((

Do you know a good screen recorder for Warcraft III?

HyperCam 2... It's what I use to make all of my on-screen videos. The problem with it is, most of the downloads for it are un-licensed, meaning at the top-left corner, you will see a white box saying "Unregistered HyperCam".

To download it, simply google HyperCam, or HyperCam 2.

Goodluck, hope this helped.

Fraps for recording, and Solveign Trimmer for cutting un-wanted part of video. Windows Movie Maker for special effects, transitions and many other.

Also, you will notice that 40 secs videos you have like 400mb when you record the .avi. Use Windows Movie Maker also for saving the video to .wmv.I already did conversion from 350 mbs (avi) to 10 mbs(wmv). The quality of the wmv will not be super, but it will be enough to be displayed nicely in non-hd youtube videos.

It would help a lot if you get a new graphics card trust me. Graphics cards are what justify whether or not your computer can handle at a threshold, the maximum resolution for decent recording.

If youre lagging i suggest you lower your Screen Resolution. If youre playing warcraft 3 this can be done in the options. If you recording your desktop, it is recommended to change your resolution on that as well.

Programs I recommend:
Fraps + Windows Movie Maker - for quick recording and modifications
Camtasia Studio + Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas Pro - for high quality, clean, professional looking videos.

if all else fails: hypercam2 which I do not suggest.
