I'm looking to save/load variables tied to the player, as in stats and unlocks. Time played, things unlocked (ticked booleans), things like that. I need guidance on how to go about it: like what functions or actions to use, or if there is a system written to do this. I prefer GUI but I'm learning JASS.

How do I Read and write to player's local data? I've seen this resource and don't know how to convert it to do what I want, and it being much simpler than loading a unit.
