I must assure you that all the models were not converted or ripped from the original game and all the textures were made from real life photos. Our model-making team did their best for that. And we're not going to upload this project due to the supported language.

It looks good, the grass model looks ugly to me tho, it is way too green and "smooth" Idk.
Is it using blend filter mode ? how would it look like with just transparent filter mode ?
Honestly, the texture quality of the grass looks way too high to me while many of the other models are way below acceptable.
Have your modellers heard of "tiling texture" concept ? Some of the textures are really painful to look at.

But overall it looks nice, why not give it to somebody to translate though ? Or simply upload it in a thread somewhere not into the resource section.
I can see people playing it even if they don't understand Russian, I mean how essential is it for the game to be played ? I don't remember stalker being too story driven or anything.

The quality of textures is quite low for all models. All the import in optimized quality has a weigth of 6 mb. Though, as a terrainer and a design master of the Guild - I can say that in-game view is much more better. Everything looks quite good while playing, and not distracting from searching for anomalies))
And translation into english, yes... You see, we're making not an ordinary ORPG with simple save-load system. We're making something like a Muliplayer campaign. So before translating we should finish the map first. At least at the level of beta-testing, so players could have some quests to do. And now this first location (first map) has only some systems to finish and beta is ready. But after that we'll have to create more than 50 quests for this location and that's really a lot of work, and with some bugs that may accur within those systems, it is quite difficult to translate the whole project in english.

Texture tiling is wrapping the texture in a way that squishes it to fit onto a surface multiple times.
It is a bit hard to explain by words.
It looks like that. Both models use the same texture which is 14kb big when in BLP. The model on the right tiles the texture while the model on the left stretches the texture to fit.
Btw that fox there is that in the map or was it edited onto the picture ? It would be hilarious if it was part of the map.

Thanks for explaining, I'll tell this to our modeller. If he'd want to do this, I'll post new screenshots. And the fox was just added to the screenshot as a joke. To be honest, even I didn't see it at first =D
