The sea looks bad, no waves or anything, but the ship in the fog is a win. And the human model is a bad choice.

Water model - Wc3campaigns might help you with the water a bit, use the wave variations to add more wave action with your sea.
Choice of unit: OK however he looks more like the cook than the captain ;-)
There is the shirtless hero model in models, he might look more like a castaway than any other in the default models of the game, still not a captain, maybe the RPG noble model as captain?
I do hope this guy gets rescued soon, if not he is going to be dead in short order, no food, no fresh water...
I would rate this a 9.5 on a scale of ten, the choice of unit being the subtractor, but I understand the lack of options on that.
