Well, I'm working on terrain for an Orpg atm and this is what I got so far.
It's still in its WIP stages but I want to know if you like it so far. I want to know if it looks interesting enough and if you would like playing in this environment.

Note: From this angle you might see some floating trees and some ugly wugly stuff, this won't be noticable ingame but I chose this angle to give you a wider view. I will add some ingame screenies later.

It looks quite standard for night elven stuff >.> But I'm not here to comment on the idea. The city itself seems a bit boring and dull, I would suggest trying to mash together different night elf buildings to make something that looks more special. Also, please dont use the normal shrub model, it looks so damn ugly.

I like the first river screeny the most. They're all fine, but it also seems a little cramped and messy. Could use some more space IMO. In screenshot 2, the colors really splash together. Would be really nice if it were more vibrant, with more discernable objects, and more spacious.
I kinda dislike the white hill/cliff/rock-thingy in the first picture. It steals my sight in an unpleasant way. Would be better if it had more detail rather than being just a big clump. Maybe move some of your shrub doodads to that cliff/rock and maybe a few rocks with pitch/roll adjusted to terrain.

Edit: In fact, when taking a closer looks, there are so many cool details in your nightelf city that I didn't see at first. Cleaning up in some of the ambient "noise" would make them spring foward. Again, more space would've made it easier to organize all those features, but that's kinda hard to change at this point, I guess.

I was supposed to do it in a rather small area, but I guess I got a little ambitious and crammed too much into it^^

It's flat and delete the fire in picture 3 it doesn't look good.

Do you want it to be on a mountain top? I prefer to have a town on a rather flat peace of soil. The fire is there because that is the beginning of a recently raided part of the city.

Ok true. If the forest pic is supposed to be within a thick forest and not just some trees in the rim, you should maybe make the height by the trees different from the height by the path/road. You could also select your raise terrain tool and click 3-7 times on some of the trees with a small brush, then select a larger one and raise or lower some areas.

Good forests are like semi-noisy in height level and include hills in areas. But first of all, everything is too crammed.

You can see from these two last posts, how much easier it really is to criticize than to terrain. Don't take that seriously Oziris. Not a challenge.
