"As far as we know, your hostiles got their choppers from a different shipment. As for the design, well... Dragon XM9 choppers are the best in the business."

On the ground, a large mechanical centipede came out. It was a Devourer Centinel.
Came out were two individuals. Wearing ragged suites and the other one had a bandana with a very odd lengthy hair. It was Director Sparrow and his friendly mate Gibs. As they come to the ground, Devourer soldiers also came out.
"This is the location you say Mr. Gibs?"
"This be the location right and true Captain. But we're not alone."
The two looked at the large ship above.

"You sure? This probably look like its gonna annihilate us." Said Sparrow in an unsurely tone.
"Nonsense Jack. Me hearing with gossips are never wrong. Besides, boss didn't lend us this big baby for nothing." Replied Gibs referring to the Centinel.
"Well then. You first." Said Sparrow. Gibs glanced at Sparrow with a rather unpleased look before the two comes closer to the ship. "We seek business!" He shouted above.

"I gave you your chance," said the pilot. "Now you die." The hydra pod locked onto the nearest Fleenzub-F's engine heat signature, as the 2 heatseekers locked onto the furthest. "Fire."

Unfortunately, many of the Fleenzub-Fs were only emitting little heat and mostly powered by magic. And to make things even crazier is, the shadow shields covered all these fighters, blocking off their heat signature and also distorting the heatseekers.

However, another Fleenzub-F got hit by the heatseekers while flying. It just happened to be there when the missiles fired, and the driver wasn't quick enough to dodge it, nor is there an advanced reflex computer to help evade the missiles.

The Fleenzub-Fs stopped bothering with laser and magics, they switched to your conventional missiles and bullets against Dragon 1.

The other Obsidians started at the exosoldier for a moment, before the Shadowmancers and Geomancers quickly conjured a sphere of darkness and obsidian trapping the exosoldier and also blocking off most of the Incinerator Grenades from affecting a large area.

The sphere quickly contracted and pressed towards the exosoldier. The high pressure could ultimately set off the grenades, if so blasting off the exosoldier but also blocking off and focusing most of the damage onto the exosoldier himself. However, the grenades proved to be a bit stronger than expected, even the tight and thick sphere of darkness and obsidian could not fully block off all the damage from spilling.

As a result, nearby soldiers were taking significant damage. Their movement speeds are now slowed greatly, and they have suffered from reduced armor due to injuries and damages.

Once or if those PRDTORs got close enough. A Cinder would explode like a detonated bomb.

Rain started to fall within the area. Followed by more orange flares came out from the sky suddenly and crashed into both machines and Triads alike, bursting in explosion and flames.
Multiple Hyenas came out from underground beside hills and mountains, like small tunnel hatches opened. Moving fast, these vehicles would run around randomly.
These mechanicals are also spreaded from mountain cliffs, hills, leveled grounds or rough patches. Having also different arsenals such as big sniper rifles, grenade launchers or vulcans. Capable of piercing enemy armor.

While raining. A strange red mist also brewed on the area as if it followed from the rain. Although it is still not at a complete stage of engulfment.

The storms of flares, droplets and bullets would prove to be very effective against the incoming hordes of Obsidians, annihilating a large number of the Obsidian Kongsi within seconds. But regardless of the attack being done, the troops, beasts and tanks kept on pouring to the battlefield like no tomorrow.

All PRDTORs stayed their distance away from their target. In a mean time, they deployed their drones to take care the Cinders and so they did.
The PRDTORs successfully dodged all incoming projectiles with their predatorious feet and began attacking viciously. The Black Knight Corp's outpost were alerted from this situation, causing it to deploy massive amount of units including tanks to their target.

Meanwhile, the base received a report from one of their alerted outpost.
"Captain, a large amount of units were spotted near the outpost's territory. Multiple enemies were found battling against our troops.", a reporter replied.
"There's no problem about these weaklings attacking our army. Our comrades were already aware of this and these weaklings were nothing but a bunch of soft-living fools attacking against the superior race. As a comeback, why not give them the 'special one'.", MGS-D1 responded.
"Roger that captain. Activating the Global Artillery Launcher to multiple targets.", a reporter responded.

The Global Artillery Launcher is activated and began bombarding most of all territories, including the Obsidian's main base, that were present in the world.

Many of the lesser settlements and outposts got devastating hits as a result, causing numerous significant losses and damages to the Obsidian Kongsi. However, the showers of artillery shells and missiles could not reach Harkdragon Citadel and the seven surrounding fortresses, they got blown up all of a sudden while still mid-air and did not inflict any real damage. Reason unknown.

The cyborgs simply wasted their bullets, oh no, I mean, yes they did make a good use of their ammos...
they've made the Dragonqueen real angry.

Chee Wah and Banehallow worked together side-by-side, pinpointing the exact location of the Global Artillery Launcher. Meanwhile, preparations are being made...

The red mist has completely engulfed the entire sector. Visibility has been greatly reduced as this mist seemed to be interrupting waves such as sound, radio, infrared and heat. Radar and electrical technology is also distorted.
But for some reason, the Hyenas were functional. They have a very dim blue light glow in them.
A small unit of Barbarian Tanks have showed up on the main mountain point providing combat support. The main mountain point is the very center of the Gargoyle's Annex.
The Hyena started heading there too, seemed to have stop their random movements.

More orange flares from the sky going on par with the rain on the area hits the open fields, explosion and fire.
Then hidden in the dense mist that covered the entire sector. About four missiles were launched and heading for the atmosphere.

The PRDTORs activated their unique system which the mist can't interrupt. Camouflage system were activated, making them invisible, and proceeded to attack in high-speed.
One of the PRDTORs managed to knock down the Hyena while the rest continued to attack the enemies.

"Great, you've made it worse..", Metal responded "They're preparing their so-called minions and some of them are in the process of pinpointing the location of our launcher.."

The reason why Metal knew is unknown.

Meanwhile, while the enemy's force is being prepared, Metal sat outside as he see Emeraldia playing around in the garden with the butterflies and flowers.

The red mist has trapped most of the poor Obsidian Triads and animals in a realm of puzzle and lostness.
However, as the bloody mist approached, quite a lot of the Obsidian troops disappeared mysteriously. But the tanks nevertheless still operated very well, and continued their attacks on the enemy forces.

This time, the Obsidians put their focus on their tank battalions - reinforcements will now consist a lot more tanks but fewer infantries and creatures

The Fleenzub-Fs began going up and down, left and right as fast as soundwaves, hoping to dodge and evade as much as they can. Of course they'd still continue to fire their weapons at the hostile jet.

The EM Pulses served only to agitate and irritate the wild plants further, but the plasma bolts would tear and burn down many of the tentacles with ease. Being annoyed by all those harassments and actions of the exosuit.

Suddenly, a swarm of evil carnivorous plants, each with a purplish head and a big ass mouth, emerged from the lands. They've extended their heights and went after the exosuit, and don't worry they have a great range.

However, a few seconds later, another species of similar but much more deadly and terrible plants have surfaced too. The similar carnivorous plants, but with a smaller pink head and capable of shooting fireballs to their enemies. To make things worse, a Forgotten One has emerged from the depths!! A couple dozens of tentacles showed up as a result too...

One of the PRDTORs managed to knock down theHyena while the rest continued to attack the enemies.
The resulted takedown made the Hyena explode, and it was no ordinary explosion. It reacted to both rain and mist, its fires became blue, and is even spitting radioactive materials.

As the retreating Hyenas approaches the main point mountain of Gargoyle's Annex. A hatch opened on the mountain wall, letting one of the Hyenas enter. And it would do the same for the others who are at different directions.
Meanwhile the Barbarian Tanks keep on firing their blue-sparkled shells, hitting both machine PRDTRs and Triad vehicles from atop mountain cliffs.

The missile towards the sky have reached the atmosphere and was soon to outerspace. These four still didn't do anything other than going further from the planet's surface.

And so they continued with the chase, but the sane pilot's fighter jet moved much more "actively" and faster, making it a difficult and unwise target. The rest just continued flying casually...

The flames would burn and roast quite a large number of the plants with ease, causing more fire to spread. However, the fire-spitting ones only benefited even more from the flames... and all of the plants would gladly ate the shovels, reinvigorating and regenerating them further.

The Forgotten One took some significant damage from the flames, but it annoyed them more than terrifying them. The angry creature spat out seven bolts of consecutive target-seeking death bolts towards the exosuit, meanwhile also pulling some weird mushrooms and began eating them.

Many of the jets were immediately shot down by the EM Pulses, due to the jets not having any controls, all of them but pilot crashed onto the ground. Despite his best efforts to avoid trouble, the sane pilot couldn't save himself from the attack too and crashed near or onto (@Edge45) Sparrow and his other friend (?)!

One of them did get shocked by the EMP too, and unlike the others, this pilot managed to overcome all odds and drove his jet to crash onto Dragon 1 (most probably hitting the top side.)

He typed in a command, and suddenly two semi-corporeal versions appeared alongside it, all bearing the same kind of weaponry. He kicked on the floodlights in an attempt to blind the enemy pilots while he sent the two clone choppers to kamikaze the enemy.

Nothing was there for the choppers to hunt and kill
All of these poor fellas crashed and died.

However, these plants and creatures have their own memory and consciousness. If the exosuit came back, he'd better watch his backs...

The numbers of both Triad and machines were increasing. In response, the Devourer vehicles on plain ground were retreating to the main mountain point, provided support by orange flare attacks and mountain based artillery.

Since the red mist have covered the sector. There was a blue glow emitting on the main mountain point. The temperature was dropping, even though the fires of the orange flares were still ignited.

The captain got ready to yell "Fire!" when a large-caliber weapon blew a hole directly through his stomache, almost blowing off the interrogator's foot. The round had obviously come from the lead chopper.

The turrets back in the outpost supported the troops by blasting the cliffside where the artilieries are placed, falling it to the ground and instantly destroyed them.
PRDTORs became more aggressive and already injured alot of enemies in their way, possibly killing them in their bleed. All troops got their AI upgraded back in the main base, making them heavily upgraded and more tactical, allowing them to viciously kill alot of enemies while staying alive.

As the artillery batteries fall to low ground. They exploded, the reason was their munitions highly combustible.
And since there were quite alot of shells inside them, they'd cause even more gigantic explosions that turn into larger orbs and absorbs PRDTORs and Triad machines into it, instantly vaporized.

From the main mountain point. Numerous orange flares fired towards the sky like fireworks, then faded beyond the red mist.
So far, not a single Devourer infantry or individuals was seen. But radiowave and soundwave readings are getting high on the main mountain point.

Only a few PRDTORs got caught in the explosion. The remaining PRDTORs stayed on guard around the red mist if there's more unusual activities being happened.
The turrets continously fires to the mountain point with their high-powered rocket, exploding in large area, even the mountain is being block by the mist visually.

The Triads were stunned and blocked for a good while, giving Chiko time to bail out, but she was weakening as a cost. Thanks to her, the Triads couldn't chase Chiko any longer and they quickly moved out...

But these busybody Triads were quickly barbequed by several masked freaks without any guns at all. They were just... true, they need no guns, just their very thoughts and feelings alone were enough to set their targets all ablaze in a hellish firestorm.

All of the masked freaks burst out laughing in amusement and shook their heads, "Naive fools. Soon, Lord Deowrig shall descend to this lowly realm and enlighten you fools about the path to Mental Omega Salvation and Divination!"

The battle began! After only a mere moment of fighting, all of the Triad patrols were already on fire without the freaks touching any guns at all.

Unfortunately for Chiko however, he did not catch the awesome moment as he was too anxious trying to run away. But he did hear about all that talk.

A moment of sprinting and jumping later, Chiko finally made his way back into the cave.
"Rosa?! What happened to you?"

Tears came down from Chiko's eyes like streams of rivers flowing into his deep, dark sea of sadness. He rushed to her side and sat beside her, "Are you okay?"

The giant armies of Triads just continued to pour themselves into the Gargoyle's Annex, overwhelming quite many of the cyborgs and the Devourers. However, strange as it may sound, as soon as most of the creatures and infantries stepped onto the area and thus immersed into the red mists, they all evaporated traceless.

However, the war machines brought by the Obsidians continued to function regardless, and proved to be a great nuisance to their enemies.

There was a blue glow emitting on the main mountain point. Naturally, the Obsidians would go for it. But with their infantries keeping on dissolving within the red mist, the Obsidians would have a hard time trying to breach it. Plus, with the sudden artillery strikes, nearly all of the invading Triads got exterminated in the blink of an eye.

The Obsidians stopped sending further reinforcements for a moment...
